l am not a professional, I only do my own nails, and occasionally my daughters. I have a £35 led lamp which seems to work quite well with shellac and other types such as Red Carpet, Bluesky etc. I must admit I would like to know exactly how long I should cure the CND Shellac. I usually do 30 to 45 sec for base, 1min for colour and 1.5 to 2 mins for top coat. If I was doing it professionally I would buy the cnd lamp. Still enjoyed your review though.

I think that although it is beyond considerate for a company that manufactures a lamp for their own product will even consider advertising another companies lamp that fully cures their own product, I think they should also let the curing times be known to fully curb any chances of improper curing both over and under! I guess we can say that it only behooves LE to put the information out there because there are techs including myself who will totally avoid an entire line of gel products because of the expense of a new lamp! Thanks for everything and sorry for the long spiel! Lol!

I think those indentations are only for your thumbs, not your pinky. They are placed like that because depending on the hand (left or right) your thumbs are sitting in opposite directions.

Hi, thank you for your informative video. I've recently bought this product and new to CND. The colour coats do not seem to cure. Have I bought a fake lamp or fake CND shellac? Is the colour supposed to completely cure and not be wiped off with isopropyl alcohol. When I have added my top coat and wiped the tacky layer am I supposed to see the colour on the wipes or is there a problem? Thanks

I just think the price is outrageous, but all CND products are rather expensive, you partly pay for the name, similar to OPI products

The sticker on there is what Nails R Us puts on all equipment that is purchased through them. They are a great distributor:)

I don’t like the old CND lamp. It worked fine but the open spaces on the side would allow the light to cure whenever I worked on the other hand.
