This happenes to my whole hand swells up and has these things on my hand
This makes me so happy! Thank you for sharing. I understand the filing process, can you please share how you changed the shape of the nail bed? It looks like they got longer! ❤
Thank you so much for this video. You are a wonderful teacher! I already see major improvement in my nails and fingertips, thanks to oil and vitamin e lotion. I just tried Londontown Illuminating nail concealer. Makes even my nails look better. But it chips off of the nail edge in just a few days. Do you know why?
As always, wonderful video, with lots of precious information! Thank you, Anna!
Glad it was helpful!🤗
Why do you have to apply clear polish
You don't have to. I like the shine it gives me.
For natural looking everyday manicure would you pick manicurist active shine or Dior nail glow? If manicurist which one of them do you like the most? Thank you for all the content, I’m on a journey to save my nails thanks to you
Como siempre, me encanta su trabajo <3.
Muchissimas gracias Daniela ❤️
👋oklahoma thank u, useful info!
Hello and welcome!!! 🤗
I have tell Thank You and let you know how much I appreciate what I've continue to learn from you! I started oiling my Cuticles pretty faithfully the beginning of this year 2024! I also as quit wearing my nail polish for more than a week at a time! I'm retired so there is no sense in me wearing it that long b 4 changing! 😊 I'LL be 67 next week and do my own Manicures! I will give them a day breather but that's all I c a n stand! I got my neighbor to putting oils on her nails too and we no longer have the OLD LADY THICK SNAP SYNDROME ❣️😂😅 I don't get to watch you as I don't have internet like B 4 but w as wanted let you know I'm enjoying my long old Lady nails even more now❣️ You are the BEST❣️❣️❣️
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Her application game is like watching a pro athlete, getting those bold cremes perfect every time is my polish goals
Thank you for your kind words :))
After a dermatologist prescribed eye drops for fingernail fungal infection, I tried emuaid and oedeo. All failed. The build up has deformed the nails and the debris is thickened. Next, I combined coconut oil,t tree oil, vapo rub, and oregano .it's eased the pain and softened the debris enough to remove some of it but I don't see any significant changes. I've also ground two nails nearly to the cuticle. Thought it was from clay but turned out to be diabetes and now I have to see a podiatrist for help 😢.
Hi Anna! I absolutely love this product! It really does remove the cuticle effectively. I use the product as directed and rinse off with water. This is actually the only cuticle remover I will use. Thanks for the helpful information. 🥰❤️🙏🏾
Jojoba oil is amazing I put it on my face every night
My nail secret is called Vaseline and oil after washing my hands all the time
I think I leave on my cuticle remover from Sally Hansen to long I don’t wash it off
It’s not for me
I never like had a manicure before and I never cut these fold it I’ve always experienced peeling above the cuticle area could it just be genetic ?
Yess, you explain this all the time to others. They need to listen better. THX soo much!!❤❤
Videos like this one are so helpful to me as I’m learning how to take care of my nails. I’m especially grateful for your advice on rinsing with plain water after using the cuticle remover 👏
I just like the word jojoba 😁
You do such a great job. Thanks.
Not sure I’d want to use something that claims to remove yellow staining, that sounds too much like a bleaching process and that seems too harsh for me. I could be wrong and it may not even remove any staining, as we know lots of these tropes of claims are meaningless marketing ploys, but I’m not willing to take that chance. Blue Cross is the only thing I will use, I set a timer for 90 seconds and rinse to remove before I scrape away the softened cuticle. Easy peasy and no adversely reaction to my skin or nails. Some of these chemicals scare me.
This one has pretty much the same ingredients. Both have potassium hydroxide as the active ingredient (blue cross has it listed as Caustic Potash which is the same thing). Blue Cross has lanolin and this one has Sesame oil. Then some thickeners. That’s it.
I appreciate the idea of neutralizing the base with an acid but unless you know the exact pH of both of the products that you're using, you're gonna end up with an excess of something. Also, if washing acids or bases off with water wouldn't work, I don't see why they'd recommend it for lab equipment in chem and bio classes. 😂
I like to keep things simple :) and if it’s not necessary then why complicate things?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, very informative, off to watch your other videos 😊
Thank you for writing:).
Love being reminded ❤
Same! Sometimes we forget little details :)
Hi Anna! Thanks for the video, as always!! I’m just learning how to take proper care of my feet and my mom’s… Highly appreciate your explanations regarding the corners because I think I was doing so wrongly 🙈 Maybe this is the reason I felt always uncomfortable in this area and not realizing why!! I’m looking forward to see your own pedicure without electric file. May I ask for your recommendations about tools, like metal file or any other tools-products for elderly feet and nails? I hope my feet nails behave as well as my hand’s nails with your advice!! ❤️😘
I will be making DIY pedi video soon. The most important thing is daily maintenance with proper cream and weekly exfoliation as needed. Then pedicure is so much easier :)
@@TheSalonLife Yes, I totally agree with you!!
I love to watch you do your work... you always deliver. 😊
Thank you so much 😀
His before feet are so much nicer then my feet! I go barefoot most of the summer and my feet suffer.
I was a project manager for a major health care company in the US. I learned very quickly how extremely important it is for people to use the exact, same and correct terminology. I quickly got used to politely correcting people that I worked with regarding their terminology because it was the only really effective way to keep everyone on the same page. Ultimately, folks learned the value in using the same terms as their project came to fruition and beyond. Never apologize for correcting people’s terminology, after all you are working toward a common goal. Ok…off my soapbox. Whenever I comment in my Facebook nail groups I use the correct “skin fold” term and hope that if others see it enough, they will learn. Thank You for sharing! 😊
So good to hear from you! It really bothers me when many dermatologists don't even care about recent research and keep using the vague term "cuticle" and when they are corrected they say "but they know what I mean". No, people clearly don't
@@TheSalonLifethey are too lazy to care enough to teach. And I am really learning to appreciate how important the correct care for the cuticle, skin fold area is. I was a chronic hangnail picker/chewer for years. Now that work regularly to manage the skin fold, I have pretty well eliminated my hangnails therefore the picking and chewing too! I always appreciate your vids and your knowledge sharing. Thank you for generously sharing and caring.

Is there something that causes them to be fan-shaped besides just genetics? I file them this way any time they get long enough to file, but there’s never lasting progress
Hi from Slovakia Europe 🇸🇰👍
Your clients' nails are beautiful! I havebeen getting gel manicures for years. I think my next appointment i am switching to a polish that does not require a heat lamp to dry
Would be extremely interested in seeing a mani/pedi withOUT the electric file. Wish you were in the US.

Yesterday I used Orly Cutique for the first time in over a year. I stopped using it because whenever I did use it, it always ended up ruining my PNF. And so, after having really taken care of my nails & skin with lots jojoba oil since last year, I was really proud of myself & picking at the PNF nowhere near as much as I used to & was using just a glass cuticle pusher to take care of the PNF & cuticles. The Cutique yesterday has ended up ruining my skin again! Had to trim so much off to help it & my fingers are sore 😢 I'm so upset! Is it possible that my skin is just too fragile or that I may in fact be allergic to the chemicals in the product?? Is it ok to just stick to using the glass pusher from now on? I look forward to your response Anna ❤xx
❤ Beautiful nails and hands and excellent manicure, Anna!! 👏🏻👏🏻
I don’t think nail polish protects the nail at all.
thank you for voting :)
Привет! Очень люблю твои видео и твою работу! Это мотивируют. Я уже писала, что отказалась от геля. Теперь поиск клиентов на натуральный маникюр. У Диор вышла новая коллекция лаков. Будете показывать обзор?
Don't shake the bottle, roll it between your hands or pop the bottle in a warm place for a bit! I put the nail polish in A BAG then in my bra, heat warms it up! UK 🇬🇧 27.7.24
This is gel polish, not a polish. You have to shake it because it's much much thicker than a polish. Also no heating as it makes the solvents evaporate much faster once the bottle is open. The bra trick might be good at home, not in a professional setting LOL ;)
I'm using white nail stickers with gel polish over the top, better. No Chips, dents or marks in my white smile lines and can use the eyeshadow hack for any French manicure colour combination I want 😍! Sorted! No more white polish, ever! Had enough! Just got the Zoya Armor Topcoat and I've ordered the Zoya mini nail set as my Xmas present. No treats for the month...oh dear lol! Nail industry is a con! Dazzle dry sounds good but the MINI set is £48/$52 here! UK 🇬🇧
What urea based lotion do you recommend?
There so many on the market. I would go with fragrance free and some kind of acid like lactic acid For example this one: amzn.to/3XGWOOh But use whatever you like using and you can use a very small amount. People usually apply way too much and then it feels greasy or sticky.
@@TheSalonLife Thank you so much!!!❤️
what? avoid gel manicures? really?!!! it depends on who does it. it's like telling people to avoid dying their hair
Hello :). I’m a little confused :). Did I say people should avoid gel manicures? Genuinely asking I think every system has pros and cons. We just have to be aware of both and the rest if just preference:)
Wow what stunning nails and a beautiful manicure!
Thank you so much 🤗
Hi, I wana share withe you about my nail sheep problem 😅.. When it come tall, it curved down and it’s very thin. How can I solved this problem?
