The ultra violet shade reminds me of Colourpop ripple 💜

It’s crazy how such drastically different blushes blend out to look the same on your cheeks! Maybe it has to do with a person’s undertones?

I think that's so important to remember, especially with the continuing blush craze! You might swatch something in store or see it on Instagram and think that you have nothing like it, when in reality, on the cheeks it looks exactly like three of your other blushes.

The Ultraviolet shimmer is a colour I’ve adored for Summer with white linen shirts for decades. SO HARD to not end up with a shadow base tone that looks like you suffer eye bruising. Ultraviolets with a muted violet matte & a denim shirt, a white linen shirt, or a hyacinth linen scarf/loose sweater? So gorgeous with green eyes for Spring-Summer transition weather

Ultra Violet looks a lot like Colourpop’s super shock shadow in Ripple. You should totally check that one out if you don’t have it in your collection!

I LOVE Ripple! 🙌🏻 I was so happy to see ColourPop included that one in their lineup at Target! My favorite way to wear it is just all over the lid with my finger, and then I tap N-Sane from JD Glow on top. Such a simple, but impactful, two shadow look! 💜✨💜✨

Yeah, I just see these as the expensive ver of SuperShocks, lol. The Pillow Talk Diamonds looks similar to CP's SS Runyon, except that Runyon is a satin.

I’m sure it probably costed Tilbury the same amount of money to create these shadows, as it takes Colourpop to make their supershocks lol. That price for those shadows is absurd

The pop shots really have me in a chokehold, there is something about the packaging and shades that really get me. That being said, I have some Odens Eye shadows in single compacts that fill some of that void, and I know myself in that I don't have something similar to those shades by now, there is probably a reason for it

I actually really enjoy how much you love those absolutely luxurious single pans in the beautiful compact. They are nice. It makes sense to go so hard on something so small if it just drives you crazy with joy.

The CT shadows & packaging are beautiful; they look precious & covetable. However, from what I can see from swatches, Sydney Grace, JD Glow, Colourpop, & Clionadh all have single shadows that are incredibly close matches for both shades. Nars & Terra Moons also have options for Pillow Talk Diamonds. While I haven't seen them in person, to tell if they're really something spectacularly better; I think you can find equivalent (or better) formulas, & extremely close color matches, for much less.

You plug your palette SHAMELESSLY girl!! It's stunning!!

Both blush shades look beautiful but the pillow talk shade appears more like the “sunburnt” affect while the pink pop looks more like a natural flush especially if you’re fair skinned. I don’t own any CT and the packaging of their magic wand products deture me big time.

Ugh, I’m so tempted. But tbh I have dupes from Colourpop.

Seems like getting one of those blushes is enough

I almost got Ultra Violet but decided to shop my stash for dupes before I decided to and I realized I HAVE A PERFECT DUPE FOR IT. It's Lethal Cosmetic's Enigma and it from everything I've seen online looks... the exact same.

I think Colourpop Supershock in Ripple is similar to the CT Ultraviolet.

I will say that if you have the Sunrise palette by Natasha Denona, I think the shade Aster might be pretty darn similar to Ultra Violet! I don't HAVE the Ultra Violet, so I can't compare it myself, but it is that pink-purple sparkly shift, and it is really pretty!!!!

i agree that the blushes look similar on! i think the side w pillow talk just looks like u have a little bit more product on but it def blended out to be way more pink than i was expecting !

The pink pop blush might show up more if you use a brush instead of a sponge since a sponge soaks up product.. maybe? With your CT dupes, I wonder what it would've looked like if you'd have put the Looxi on top of the Menagerie one. It kinda looks like that would've made the resulting shade more similar to the CT one.

Your eye look is absolutely stunning 😍 I bought the ultra violet shadow and the peach pop blush, loving both! I'm 52 and the shadow takes me back to being a teenager in the 80s! 😆

From how it looks onscreen, I think that NYX's Sweet Cheeks Soft Cheek Tint (in the tube) looks extremely similar to CT's new matte blush. IMO, the NYX have an excellent formula, w/similar shades, for like $9.

Jd glow N-Sane looks like a dupe for ultra violet yet much more sparkly

The ultraviolet reminds me of a Clionadh Amulet or Lofty. It's a round pan eyeshadow they recently brought back. I bought a whole bunch of purple shifty shades with blue flips (or vice versa) so if I didn't already have options this would be great!

If im spending 35 dollars on single shadow it better blend on its own loool

There is a shade called “Ladies Dancing” by Sydney Grace that has the pink brilliance of the CT Ultra Violet shade. It is a more saturated magenta and doesn’t have the base+top formulation. But it has a brilliant magenta layer under a lilac satin sheen that is gorgeous. I think it could be manipulated to be the CT shade.

Ultraviolet would probably look gorgeous over a darker base! Would love to see you try that.

I loooove the CT wands and use them all the time, and was super excited for the pillow talk matte wand. I think it's a beautiful product as far as shade and formula, but on my two wears to work, it definitely didn't pass the mask test. I have a mask off and on all day, and I could definitely see the indents and the rub marks, more so than a lot my other (even cream) blushes. Definitely for days off only, for me.

I know this might defeat the purpose of the ease of use for the CT wand, & possibly change the finish; but have you tried setting it w/a similarly toned powder blush? My face seems to eat blush, & if I REALLY need it to last, I always layer. I often use a gel or liquid-stain blush (like Benetint, etc.) to underpaint. I then do my coverage products, apply cream blush, then finally set it w/a powder blush. Sometimes I swap the order, & use the cream over the powder, á la Patrick Ta; but if you need it to LAST, stain - cream - powder always works for me. I hope this helps!

@@NatalieValentina6 I have definitely tried layering techniques, although as of late I prefer fewer layers, at 46 more layers added seems to accentuante to the fine lines around my cheeks and eyes...but with that being said I will have to try layering this one for sure! Stars ‘n’ rockets is similar for sure. It looks like from your video it’s a little bit more pink and a little bit lighter/cool tone pink compared to ultra violet. Also it’s a veluxe pearl so the shimmer is a pearlescent glow no glitter. It has a more transparent pink base color that disappears more when it’s turned out of direct light.

The pillow talk blush reads a hair more berry and a tad deeper but honestly they did look very similar. I want a true brown shade

To think for the price of the 2 single eyeshadows you can pick up a Natasha denona palette , too over priced in my opinion!

I bought the pillow talk blush, and I cut off the stupid sponge, it still works. Works better in fact, for me. I can get a tiny amount out and waste none.

I was gonna get the pink pop blush but I'm leaning towards pillow talk now . Actually the pink pop leans more peach then the peach pop it was a prettier color then then the peach one you made good choices. No it really doesn't look that different on you that's crazy sense they are 2 totally different color swatches.

I have a single from terramoons that I'm almost positive is a dupe for the purple shade but I cannot remember the name! 💜✨

That violet shade looks similar to one of the palettes from Adept from last year, maybe. I'll have to dig out my palettes to look at it when I get back home

Ultraviolet with Electric kelp is going to look 🔥 I really hope she releases an olive/antique gold with a khaki base or something similar to ND's Lime Chrome. Pink Pop and Pillow Talk Pop look pretty different on me but, yeah, they look practically identical on you. I have a strong olive undertone though so pinks always look hella pink on me.

I think that Moira Beauty Starshow Shadow Pot (007, OMG) looks similar to ND's Lime Chrome. Some people say that Clionadh Cosmetics Clionadh Embellishment Glitter Multichrome Eyeshadow is a dupe.

How does the violet pop shot compare to the Kaleidos Lunar Lavendar light shimmer? It reminds me of it.

I feel like the blushes looked the same head on but when you turned your face a bit I could tell they were different. Interesting how similar they look though considering how different they are in the tube!

What is the best glitter glue for super (extremely) sensitive eyes/ lid skin?

I definitely wanted 1 or 2 of these but for the price and the problem I have with her pop shades in the expensive quads hard panning I'm really thinking no lol I liked the pop shades before they hard panned on me makes me so mad lol I picked up the pillow talk shade on her website and haven't tried it yet but I wanted pink pop too but I'm glad I didn't get it cause it looks so similar to pillow talk.. have the moonlite glow highlighter too and it's pretty I really like it! I’ll have to agree that the blushes looked the same once blended out! Tbh, most blushes tend to look the same on me too! I have probably hundreds of them, and I know I always end up looking the same once my makeup is all done! Lol

I bought the Diamonds shade as a dupe for the Galaxy shade in my Mercury Retrograde palette that smashed like 3 years ago lol, I've been searching for a dupe forever and this is the one that comes the closest, and honestly I kind of like Diamonds better now than Galaxy, and that was my OG absolute favourite topper haha. For me it was worth the big price point because I'm going to get a ton of use and joy from it, but otherwise I think it's overpriced haha

What do you have on the lips? You often have this look and I loooove it!

i see the difference in the blushes. The left side of the screen is darker than the right side for sure.

The pillow talk side looks just a bit more sculpted around th edges. But yes, when sheard out, they look kinda the same 🤣 Lovely video, as always ❤️

I have smokey quartz and I think it's my favourite single shadow, from a pretty extensive collection. I'd be happy to pay AUD$51 for more shades in this formula, if she releases another shade that I vibe with, but it looks like there is a fair bit of finish variation between each shade with the pop shots, and I'm only interested in ones as sparkly and wet look as smokey quartz. I know you mentioned the pillow talk diamonds shade is more flakey and sparkly, does it feel similar to smokey quartz to you?

Charlotte tilbury doesn’t call to me and that much for a single shadow is insane especially because they just look like shades you can get from any brand.

Putting a double sided sticky tape dot thing in the CT compact Stopps them from going round and round in the compact, and stops the rattling, which I dislike
