I'm disappointed in the ultraviolet shade too. Funny how it sold out so fast, guess people thought it was similar to cosmic rocks. My new fave is pillow talk diamonds! I was hoping rose gold was going to be more pink but it was not, so pillow talk diamonds delivered the pink colour I wanted :)

yeah ur so right, if it had been like cosmic rocks but a purple version it woulda been AMAZING 😭💜🦄 and yeah I would say pillow talk diamonds is more of a rose gold than the rose gold shade 😂💖

Thanks for this review! I was disappointed the ultraviolet shade sold out so quickly, but I have the ND Pastel palette so I'm glad you did the comparisons. I don't feel like I missed out now. I am however really fighting the urge to get the pillow talk one!

The packaging is so beautiful it calls my name!! The gems are soo cute. But I definitely don't need these shadows 😭😭 Also, sorry to ask this here but I was wondering about your updated thoughts on the ND retro glam palette. I rewatched your video on it recently and can't stop thinking of your pink and green look. I'm thinking of getting it!

Hi Stacy! Great content as always. I was wondering how the pillow talk shade compares compares to the fenty rose rave? They’re both pink and bronze and sparkly but would love to hear your thoughts!

hi good question! They’re actually quite diff in that fenty rose rave is def a glitter topper situation whereas pillow talk diamonds is an opaque shade. The shimmers in them are similar in the pinky bronze sparkles but fenty is WAAAY sheerer (so in my case looks a lot lighter on the eyes). I bet u could create a similar shadow to Pillowtalk diamonds by using some pinky bronze metallic first then topping it w fenty rose rave, but by itself it looks nothing alike! Hope that helps

Beautiful shade the hot pink one BUT for me not worth the price point and not impactful enough 😢 I really appreciated the dupes🙏, Looks way better than the CT one 🤭

It's really lame that CT's website only had those fake photoshopped arm swatches of the shadows; I wonder if they did real arm swatches people would have realized the Ultra Violet one wasn't sparkly, and it wouldn't have sold out as fast as it did
