NEW CHANNEL NAME: All Things Mechanical!
Hey everyone. If you're new here, welcome! If you've been with me for a while, welcome back! Since leaving my job at the ranch, it didn't really seem fitting to continue calling myself The Ranch Mechanic anymore, so here I go again switching things up. My channel will now be known as "All Things Mechanical", and I'm excited for the opportunities that the new job and new house will provide for all of us. I'm still getting set up at the new place (which is plainly obvious based on how disorganized my garage currently is), but once I'm a little more settled in I should have the time and space for filming some much better videos for all of you. Congrats on the new job! I, too work in IT in a government funded non-profit. Been working there for 22 years, and now working primarily from home. Recently moved to a house on 20 acres in the hills, and can't wait to get my workshop setup!

Thanks Chris! Sounds like you're about 10 years ahead of me goal-wise, but eventually we want to move up to northern Idaho or Montana and find a place with some land...not huge, but enough space for me to build my dream shop. I think 15-20 acres would be perfect, sounds like you've got a great thing going!

@@AllThingsMech thanks! If only I wasn't still in CA... I'm about 35 miles from Yosemite. Sure is beautiful up here... But EXPENSIVE. Going to take me some time to save up to get my shop built the way I want.
Are you going to start doing educational how-to videos?
