Redwood city hosed me so i bought in Monterey. Requested an allocation in January received it in May. Car was delivered in Dec. Purchased at MSRP

@@gentianmedia3814 I have my GTS coming 2023, but it's funny your GT4 spec worked out to be about the same price as mine. You'll see why though lol: PPXNNZ22 Going for more the GT feel, luxury feel above all else, i'll be daily driving mine as well.

Tech note. If you want to hear what it sounds like without valves, just unplug to two lines in the back and plug them with screws. You can just leave them loose as they are stiff and don't move around. I have over axle pipes and believe me you will not need anything else. The way it gurgles, pops and whales is incredible. I have the same color with black wheels though :). If have had my car since Feb, 2021 and fortunately no issues after wait for it.....30K miles :).

Yea, I’ve read about that as well but ultimately decided to go with a valve controller because I personally found it a bit too boomy inside. 30k miles in 1.5 months?! Dude that’s awesome!! I ordered the Akra OAP’s but they’ll be here later this year, I can’t wait!! Also glad to hear you haven’t had any problems, I had a couple of CEL’s that came and go… weird

I actually have a Lotus but looking for a gt4. The Lotus is definitely more hardcore and has better handling but the gt4 has an amazing engine and it is way more comfortable. Overall quality is better as well. Can't wait to get in one soon!

Hey man sorry for the late reply, mainly because it’s my only car at the moment and having a roof makes it a bit more practical (you can store things through the shelf, I can put a roof box if I need to, etc). If I had a daily I would’ve gone spyder 100%, but I don’t really regret my decision much :)

I’m thinking about the Soul valve controller. I have the Fabspeed OPF delete pipe. Sounds much better but the valve modulating at 1800 & 3800 drives me a lil crazy.

Hey brother, cool vid and great looking GT4. I’m looking to have front and rear dash cams installed in my GTS 4.0, whom did you use for that? Was it OCD as well? And did OCD install the radiator grills as well? Also in the Bay Area, will email you and maybe a few of us can meet up for a cars and coffee

Good video bro! My 981 GT4 was my only car and daily driver for the last 12 months and 30.000 kilometers. That car was such a convenient and great daily driver - almost perfect (see my videos 😋)! And the 718 is even better to daily 😉👍🏻. The only thing I ever missed in my GT4 was the „Nose Lift“ function. So I had to be very careful with my front bumper. Nose Lift wasn‘t available for the 981 GT4. Is it for the 718?

Thanks man! Wow you put some km’s on yours, that’s great! Comparing your 981 to my 718, I find the clutch and steering to be lighter. Makes it more dailyable for sure, but does take away a bit of feel :). For some reason I couldn’t spec the nose lift. So stupid honestly. I think you can finally spec it in the GT4RS, but still not for the GT4’s. I angle everywhere I go, but if I scrape it’s no biggie as the front splitter is a couple hundred dollars to replace so I’ll probably swap it out every other year or so. Thanks for the comment! I’ll check out your videos ;)

@@matthiasoncarsbikes dude!! I started binge watching some of your GT4 videos, I especially love the grand tour one! I love traveling and hitting backroads around the country but the problem is that I don’t have other people to hit it with around here :( your videos are making me think that I’ll just do it myself! Also, love your ND! I always wanted one and still lust after one haha. I’ve driven a spec Miata on track and an NA on the road, and they’re amazing cars, but i haven’t driven an ND, especially an ND2. Enjoy it in good health!

I'm #1 in line for an allocation on a Spyder. I have a feeling my wait will be longer than yours... It would be replacing an S2000 and would be a second car, so no roof for me! Congrats - enjoy the car... BTW - work on your nervous laugh... you use it as a filler... your vids would be that much better without it.

Thanks man! I originally had a spyder on order but then went GT4 because it’s my only car so I figure having a roof would be nice if I want to mount a bike or ski box. Love the S2k, I used to drive my friends CR on track all the time :). I’ll definitely take your suggestion into account in the next few vids, I actually tried editing it out in the most recent video. Check it out!

I just picked up my GTS last week and took it to Angeles Crest and I have to agree to car is so planted and controllable. Let me know if you want to do comparison I’m from the Bay Area too.

You can maybe fit it in the trunk and frunk. Frunk is pretty deep.
