The plant of the international production of BMW Motorrad with its 230.00sqm is located in Berlin, in the district of Spandau.
When creating the new BMW GS 1300, the key factor was integration, a compact connection of components. And this can be seen in the design of the motorcycle.
The new BMW R 1300 GS is officially presented. The novelty received a new design, a more powerful opposed engine and a new suspension. The weight of the motorcycle has been reduced, and the number of electronic assistants has increased significantly.
The central element of the novelty is the legendary two-cylinder opposed power unit. Its new design is more compact than ever before, thanks to a gearbox located below the engine and a new camshaft drive mechanism. Engine volume increased to 1300 cubic meters. see
The new R 1300 GS received matrix LED headlights with an innovative design as standard equipment, modern LED lighting devices with turn signals integrated into the hand protection, and the active Headlight Pro light rotation system as optional equipment from the factory.
The new EVO Telelever front suspension with a flexible element and the updated EVO Paralever rear suspension promise to provide even greater handling precision and ride stability. The new electronic system of dynamic suspension adjustment (DSA) provides dynamic adaptation of elasticity, as well as load compensation.
Thanks to the adaptive height control, the new R 1300 GS offers a fully automatic adjustment of the motorcycle's height depending on the operating conditions and the load, thus ensuring the highest possible comfort without compromising the riding dynamics and handling.
As standard, the new R 1300 GS now has four riding modes to adapt to the rider's individual preferences. Driving modes "Rain" and "Road" allow you to adapt the driving characteristics to most road conditions. With Eco driving mode, maximum range can be achieved on a single tank of fuel, while the optional Enduro driving mode provides an enhanced off-road experience with special settings for off-road use.
There is also a driving assistant with active cruise control (ACC), forward collision warning (FCW) and lane departure warning (SWW) for a safe and comfortable motorcycle ride.

    r1300 trophy looks more the successor of r1200 gs rallye than the r1250.

    I guess that this bike won't be able to be beat up when she is taken for off road because of casting frame. The most character of bike is the headlights but this one appearance like Lexus in automobile with spindle grills. I hope the aftermarket one could replace the stock

    Saw the 1300 for the first time in the flesh today. Looked at, sat on it. One word..... Underwhelmed.

    What were you expecting? A GS or something else? You shouldn’t judge it only by the looks. Go ride it and then give us your impressions.

    Is the engine of 1300,900 and 800, 2024, made in Germany!!??..or just assembled..

    Inline 2 900cc is made in china by Loncin factory, all the rest is from Germany

    Time will tell if it’s a good design. That fellow with a screwdriver forcing a part in place made me squirm. As they say, don’t buy the first year product. Wait until issues are discovered and remedied.

    Impressive to see being built, but.......... its still ugly, cheap looking and too small as a GS, sorry but as far as this serial-GS owner is concerned, its a fail no matter how well it rides
