    I own this bike in the same version. It is a great looking bike, so fun to ride. People are taking picture of it when stopping. Some like more comfort, some like it more sporty. I like how sporty it is. I bought an external soft fuel bags for my longer trip. I am would not change it after owning it for 2.5mpnths now.

    Hi V-Told! It’s nice to to watch a new video from your Channel. This bike has clear virtues, mainly out of the asphalt but it’s a nice all around bike for the city and as a commuter where it’s easy maneuver in, is rather appreciated and appealing. If we appreciate these tall and upright riding positions this BMW is a fine road bike. I’m not riding often off-road but if I were, the Yamaha Tenere 700 would be my choice or something even lighter, that probably is available on the KTM range. These bikes that exceed the concept of good crossovers because they can effectively be excellent in off road rides, I prefer a bigger engine displacement like the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE. Additionally, I like the classical retro look of this bike. We can travel on every bike, but for better convenience and comfort I would say it’s mandatory to look for other options, better suited for the purpose. Nice video, thanks!👌🏻

    I think this bike looks great, but there are two downside from my point of view: The fuel tank is too small. The stiff suspension - I've not ridden that bike yet, but I believe you. Some bikes in this sector come with too hard suspension (KTM 890AR and the DesertX). I like soft suspension for my fast and smooth riding style. KTM have reputation for being unreliable, but this is down to the way they deal with problems. BMWs are also unreliable, but BMW deal with customers' complaints better, so there's less moaning on the forums.

    @@user-iv2os5dp4s It's the other way around - if smooth, you ask less of the suspension, so it can be softer, which allows it to soak up the bumps. If the suspension is hard, you get thrown around and the tyres spend less time in contact with the road surface. Hitting a bump at speed will compress the suspension whether you're smooth or aggressive. Softer springs (and less damping) will allow a smooth rider to focus more on comfort.

    Hi V- Told,, I folloved almost all your videos because you cath all the relevant things on bikes which are real life important and last year I bought ktm 890 adventure s based on your video( most dangerous in the class) and agreed with everything you had said. I love the bike, the engine is fenomenal and handling and you "warn" us about the biggest issue - heet comming from the engine! That's why I tested now bmw f900 gs and f800 gs and was surprised how the engine pulls well on both of them even the f800 is 87 hp. I find f800 better handling than f900 due to 19 inch front wheel and better seat high for me(180cm). Tested pararel with my ktm to see about the heat in hot day and can confirm your opinion that on f900 the heating is ok with litle more on left leg. Do you have plans about testing F 800 gs 2024 because your conclusions are The most relevant for me, matching very much my finding. best regards, Dragan

    I had before bmw r1200rs than r1200gs adventure and now down sized to ktm 890 adventure s.., a do not ride off road but like the adventure style bikes..

    I am about to purchase one from my dealer, my only concern is the brief (< 1 second) , engine rattling noise when first started cold. Dealer say is normal and that is an oil being circulated when started but coming from boxer engines never had those kind of issues. Can someone comment on this?

    I think it used to be like this with the rattle for a while. I've got a car that does the same as is got oil-driven timing-chain tensioners.

    The 14 lt tank lets this bike down for use here in Australia unfortunatly Otherwise i reckon its a great bike

    Now that you have found a European bike with a good quick shifter, why not get your hands on the 2024 Yamaha MT09 SP and do a comparison? I have a feeling it will beat the BMW hands down. It maybe considered low budget but for me, since I bought in Sep 2021, it has not required taking back to the dealership. I cannot entertain buying a European bike simply because my 2020 Ninja 1000SX and 2021 MT09SP are so incredibly reliable that I never had to take them to the dealer, or was ever concerned about warranty. European bikes are like taking drugs; you will get high but you will pay a very heavy price in the end.

    You are exactly right - the Jap bikes tend to be very reliable, but the European bikes suit our needs and desires better. It's difficult to resist the bikes that the European manufacturers offer. I love my KTM 800AR, but know it won't last like a Jap.

    @@VToldsMotoShow From all the feedback and comparison videos I have been watching, it seems the MT10 is not in the same league as the MT09. MT10 is considered heavier, less nimble and not as engaging. Whenever you review the MT10, please be sure to mention the poor design choice of the headlights where only one side is used for low beam; this has been a deal-breaker for me. There are a lot of issues with the 3rd gen MT09 which appear to have been addressed, particularly the quick-shift problem. Cruise control is standard. Definitely incomplete without a proper windshield but still more reliable than any European bike.

    Plenty enough: I had 850 GSA and avg. consumption was 4,1 ltr/100km long term, so I never needed to fill full tank. So over 300 km is very easy even with 14,5 ltr tank.

    What matters is range. Otherwise the number of liters isn't impressive indeed.

    Fine. Now, that we have taken this out of the system - the new Stelvio..... 😀 And 1 more thing : Those 2x rear, red lights - BMW has lately made "their look" - : In the US - where auto-piloting of cars is not 100% forbidden - several bikers were killed by Teslas with sleeping drivers inside. It happened due to Teslas GREED -They took out the radar, and let all the piloting be done by cameras, which made the cars' brain assume - that it's a car in front - far in distance, and not a bike with 2 rear lights - right there..... Well - owners of bigger, newer BMW bikes are "playing with fire" by exposing their asses to 1/2 blind Tesals 😱😱

    @@VToldsMotoShow This bike is for YIUNG and agile.. And it is top heavy like the Stelvio, but with much less comfortable seat.
