I’m super late to this video but awesome comparison vid. I recently picked up both and enjoy both but I really dig that mandarin in the opening of extreme. That being said I can’t wait to try both in colder weather just to see how they might react off my skin.

Hey Juan! Glad you enjoyed the video! I actually like the Extreme the best as well. I'm not sure where I was at with that when I filmed this, but it's definitely thick enough to be a nice fresh fragrance for the cooler (or colder) weather. We don't get a ton of cold weather here so I stick to the really thick & dark stuff before it turns 100° for 9 months! 🥵

Extreme has solid Performance...for me best in the Chrome line⭕

I've not smelled either of these two that you reviewed .. but I have smelled the original and really liked it...got the husband a sample, but have no idea where it is...

Chrome extreme is my favorite blue summer fragrance but also can be worn in the cooler months because of the sweetness and the warmth of the cashmeran and amber. I’ve had all the big name blues bleu de Chanel edp, Dior sauvage edp, Dylan blue, Ysl y edp, and I’d choose chrome extreme over the other 4 any day.

Azzaro picking it up? Aqua shot up to my favorites list quick. Gotta get my nose on extreme. Great vid 👍

Aqua is better to me for compliments but when it comes to performance, extreme wins... But I have to say Aqua. If you don't care about when to use fragrances I think Aqua would take the cake. Azzaro is doing a pretty great job with their Chrome line but hope to see better for the Wanted line in the future too.

I haven't tried anything in the Chrome line before, but I've heard good things about these two, and Pure. How does pure compare to these two? I've heard it has better performance than Acqua. Is that true?

Your use of green screen looks awesome! Do you use lighting at well? How do you make it look so good?

Thanks man! I use two shadow boxes towards the green screen & split front and rear D50 led photography lights blended with bright white & natural at about 60-63% brightness. Make sure your screen is good and tight (as little wrinkles as possible) NO SHADOWS pitched on the screen & a good quality DSLR camera where you can look at the screen from where you're standing or sitting so you can adjust to your rooms size and lighting. DaVinci Resolve is great for keying out the shadows, but I've heard some great things about Green Screen Wizard. It's software specifically for green screening Hope this helps!!

Being in the summer steam bath of Coastal GA, I have a bit of overload on my fresh fragrances. Of all, Chrome Aqua, D&G Light Blue and ADG Profundo are my dead heat of summer, “go to” fragrances. Just got a sample of Y by YSL and that has my attention also. All are pretty good performers for lighter juices. Want to try PDM Sedly to sneak a niche in now and then.

Extreme is dope but it’s smells like wanted and legend in one to my nose.

Never tried either. I sometimes see Chrome and its flankers in Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Maybe I'll give one a shot. Did you know: There are no ants in Antarctica, Iceland or Greenland. SOTD: Tom Ford Beau de Jeur

Hey Bruno! Chrome Aqua is just a really nice summer scent that absolutely works!

for me it’s Extreme it hands down has gotten me the most compliments which makes sense because it’s a higher oil concentration it projects more and lasts longer so it’s easier for people to smell it’s similar to profondo another one I like a lot and is probably the reason I got extreme. Aqua is also very good minty fresh and fairly unique but it just doesn’t perform unless it’s very hot outside for me. Can’t go wrong with either but I think the common consensus in the community and from pretty much every fragrance youtuber I follow are in agreement that extreme is the pinnacle of this line I haven’t tried the new parfum yet but it’s going to have to really impress people to knock extreme off the top of the mountain I suppose if you are an older gentleman you might not agree but if your wondering if extreme is worth the few extra dollars compared to the others on discounters the answer is absolutely. Personally I wanted them both they definitely differ enough to not be redundant to one another but push comes to shove is you ask most people if they could only keep one it would be extreme

For me, Chrome EXTREME is the one I like the most between the two. BUT.....Chrome Aqua is a beautiful fragrance. Nothing bad to say about it. I have Chrome Legend as well and really like it.

Hi Cam for me Extreme it's a like but not a love,I never tried Aqua,I don't think I'll buy it back

Having both for a while now and putting a decent dent in both bottles, extreme takes it. To my nose smells better and performs better on my skin than aqua does. Aqua is great, the only difference from extreme is the slightly less longetivity, smell wise though, aqua smells aquatic but more herbal and green than extreme does, thanks to the basil and mint notes added to aqua.

The only fragrance I wear when playing Battlefield.

Just bought Extreme last week and have worn it several times. I really like probably as much as Aqua

The green mandarin in Extreme is really, really, really tart. It ultimately decides how you feel about Chrome Extreme as a whole.

Interesting....

I sprayed aqua heavy on my skin at Sam's club with their tester. I initially was impressed, but that feeling faded. The scent seemed to fade quickly. I smelled it once before on a tester and liked, but on skin not so much. It almost seems with aqua, you could just buy Nautica Voyoge.

I pay the reviews on Fragrantica no mind. All it takes is for one momo to say something negative & you'll have a bunch of sheep that haven't even tried a fragrance talking that shizz. If you want to see a REAL reaction to Extreme, watch the "10 Amazing Men's Fragrances" video with the thumbnail that says "BEST OF THE BEST" & it has Extreme in the pic. That should help you! 😉

I have been wearing the original chrome since my daughter bought it for me when it first came out. I own all of the Chrome flankers and enjoy everyone. It's a long story but dating a fragrance representative allowed me to acquire over 200 scents including many niche fragrances. I still to this day get far more compliments from the original Chrome than any other with PDM Layton being second. My favorites in the Chrome line are the original, summer 2013, and the limited edition 2015. Out of these two I favor extreme by just a little. I tend to wear aqua more in the day and extreme at night. My granddaughter always tells me now good I smell except for one time. I was wearing aventus and she told me I smelled like poop. I agreed with her. I poured the bottle down the toilet. I've given many fragrances that I don't like away but the idea of anyone I care about smelling of aventus would bother my conscience. The most overrated fragrance in history. Anyway back to the Chromes, they are definitely underrated as well as the house of Azzaro.

Honestly, I've tried nothing from this house. Not because I don't want to it's because I have so many other fragrances that I look at on my shelf and need to wear vs. spending more (which I would like to do) but don't need too.

I wish they would just stop with all the extreme nonsense ,and just make it all like that. Because pure ,and Aqua are both great. I'm not crazy about Aqua's oregano note, but it fades quickly , and then it's great.

Just picked up chrome and it's very good the aqua is kinda basic in my opinion bro the aqua is totally what you expect but extreme is pretty good was at my little store in my erea and walked in and had just showered and freshened up and girl was like that's gotta be that Johnny guy from down the street omg he's always smelling delicious but thought I'd chime in because I'd just picked it up......cam were ??? I only own Chrome Sport, blind buy based on better reviews and higher score compared to Aqua and Extreme. I also love/prefer it’s waft and casual smoothness compared to Versace Man Eau Fraiche, which I find a little harsh on top but good scent also.

I didn’t like chrome legend, I gave it to my dad.
