Well reviewed Steven. This one is probably my 3rd fav Chrome behind Aqua and Sport. On a completely different note (if you'll pardon the pun), I just picked up Zara's Warm Black and it's beyond a winner. Can't believe they didn't release it in the Tobacco Collection. This year's cheap autumn banger. But in terms of affordable freshies, I've got the entire Jeanne en Provence line coming from Europe in the next 2 weeks. Neroli Intense and Aqua look wonderful.

Steven, i have the Azzaro Chrome United. One of The most powerfull compliment i received in my Life, its when one night i use Chrome United, and i pass for two beutifull ladies and a few meters one of then run to me and said "Wow!! I love your smell, you smell amazing!! I respond to her" Me? No! and she said " Wait!! She looks to her friend lady and said" What you says when he passes for us, " He smells amazing!!, Then, they come close to me and smell my neck and they smilled to me. Im petrefied by the way they react to the fragance. No words... From this Day i still buy this line of Chrome. Im checking this out this new release. I was just at my local Ulta store and they had their new releases out and i immediately saw this new Azzaro Crome fragrance. I did read it was a extreme version, so I only sprayed a couple times on my neck because I was indoors and I kept a test strip. I really thought the opening was really nice, so I do like it. Will I buy it someday, it's a possibility maybe for a future summer. I had to see a review on it, on when the best time to wear it and the performance on it. Overall I like it and I am a fan of Azzaro.

It's funny -- I wore the original Chrome for over 20 years (every day). Sadly, it just died (longevity and sillage -- which used to be BIG BLINKING STRENGTHS of Chrome -- just disappeared) a few years ago. I finally gave up on it, to my dismay. I have missed having a Chrome on my sink. I have tried all of the flankers, but I never got that same intensity and longevity... Chrome Extreme solved it. I just love it. It still has a metallic vibe of the original -- perhaps from the "juniper fizzy" note they discuss. There's also a universality to it. I feel just as comfortable wearing this one at 39 years old as I did the original Chrome when I was 15. I have to be honest, I get a lot more than 6 hours (ie, my nose is still picking it up as I go about my day). I think it radiates an arm's length very consistently (for at least 3 hours). It's interesting that your and my "performance" are so different, as I think we have agreed on almost all of the performance notes over the years.

I know it’s different for everyone, but to me the ultimate enjoyment comes from wearing fragrance for oneself.

As always, nice review!

I really like this one, prefer it to the Aqua release. I think there's a hint of something like Issey l'Eau Majeure and ADG Profondo. It's one of the best Chrome flankers to my nose! It could've been called Chrome Deep or Chrome Aqua Deep.

i just bought it online at sephora. they did not carry it local. my first retail price purchase of a fragrance ever. the bottle just looked too cool. just with your comment alone is zoomed over to RL website and said "i want it".

Got this one the other day. Really disappointing imo. To me it's just a sort of dated smelling confused scent where the notes don't blend together nicely.

Not in the opening but somewhat similar in dry down but Profondo seems a bit more spicy to me. Chrome extreme is more of a smooth fresh smell.

So I’ve been wearing chrome Eau de Toilette for ten years. I accidentally picked up the Extreme for $94 and the shit is too strong and it’s very heavily alcohol based if you don’t like heavy smells don’t buy it.

Got this for $33.41 on fragrancenet for the 100ml. The 50ml was actually $37.99. I thought it was an error and the very next day the 100ml was no longer available and they only had the 50ml. Hmmm... And to think this is going for a whopping $90+ at retailers........SMH
