In this video I show how I install a 6 - AR-600 RGB Bluetooth Switch panel from @Auxbeam along with some 3" Fog lights and LED headlight bulbs on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma Trail. The Trail Edition does not come with stock Fog lights, so this install is from scratch!

Can’t ever go wrong with an Auxbeam switch panel, got the 8 switch for my Maverick X3 and man it’s a lifesaver! Thank you for showing the installation process. Can’t wait to install one whenever I get my Tacoma next year. 👍🏼 P.S. love the set up you got.

Just a thought, I am not sure why that didn't work without your headlights on, but I think I would move that tap a fuse to a key on power location so you don't have to have your headlights on to run the additional 5 switches.

Everywhere I’ve read, they say not to put LEDs in the halogen housing. Why? Are these special LEDs?

I think this is the case if they don't have a proper cut off, so you'd blind people. These headlights have a good light cut off "projector lens" These trucks specifically come with LED bulbs in the higher trim. I'm not sure if they actually change anything about the construction of the headlights themselves. Thanks for watching
I had the same problem. What fuse did you tap into ?

I ended up changing it to the IGN fuse and works perfectly now. Was worried about touching anything to do with ignition but it doesn't seem to have caused any problems
So to be clear, you cut off the relay from the lights?

Yep, the switch board acts as a relay
