Always watch your videos and find them informative. I have a question though. You always point out the battery terminals and i was wondering if these can be used for maintaining the battery with a battery tender during winter storage. I have an m440i.

Hi Allen， just a quick question, I’ve just updated my m240i to the latest idrive 8 system, the the standard view of the head up display content won’t change when i go in to sport mode, the option of standard view show driving mode content are also gone in the system setting, is this normal? Does your m240i also experience this issue? Please help me out with this it’s really annoying😢

iDrive8 in 2 series doesn't have change head up display view with mode option. My 2023 never had this option and I noted as something that differs in the 2 series iDrive8 versus other cars. For example the 2 series iDrive8 also has no option to switch the tach to power meter which is fine but 3 series and 4 series iDrive8 can do that.

Love the “don’t put RainX” comment! Haha! I’m guessing you’ve seen some people make some mistakes! But I agree, it’s way better to treat the windshield, rather than put different products in the washer fluid reservoir!

The prices of the options in the description aren’t aligning with the bmw website when I build this car …. What’s going on here ? All option prices are doubled, making the MSRP of the car super inflated.

Tune this with flash chip and within 20 minutes you can bump the whp to 315 while weighing much less than the 240i 😆. Why would anyone pick the 240i over the 230i? 🤔

Just bought one and new to the BMW World. What type of flash chip do you recommend? I am assuming this will void the warranty if i install this chip? Do you have an IG?

iDrive8 is not unlocked yet for tuning so most people are going JB4 if anything. Picking the M240i is because the B58 still reliabily outputs somewhere around 400hp so its still a significant gap in performance lol

The airbag cover isn't nice, it was leather and now it's plastic, I can't believe Bmw is cheapening out on such stuff without informing the client (I ordered and was presented a car with it, and I am receiving a car with plastic), frat job bmw..

I'm informing my clients lol as inflation continues, BMW is not exempt so to try and keep costs down they have to do what they can to save money on production, especially when it doesn't really impact the overall experience especially when most people wouldn't know or care without videos like these lol

Most people do know and care, bimmerpost is full of threads informing about cost cutting in all sorts of BMW, and how would I not If I waited a year for this car (Europe), sat in a car with leather airbag cover, metal footrest and backseat climate control (not to mention deleted side ambient light) and got a car without all of it? It's the details that make a car premium...
