The 230i got the B48 in 2017 I believe. Not the N20.

2016 in Europe at least (may have even been on the road by the end of 2015). Handling and chassis of the new car demonstrably better despite the additional 250 lb weight but there's nothing else I prefer about about it. It would hard to give up the old car's looks and simpler, classic driver-oriented interior.

The motor in the 230i, that specific car you are showing, is the b48. The 228i had the n20. I know because I have a 228i. The 230i never came with the n20.

The both should have the b48 or a variation of that motor. Just tuned differently

What would the current 230i be like for long term? I keep my cars long time and dont want a money pit. I have heard the 230i is actually very good
