Looks great. Personally I like mbunas more than haps and peacocks. Always nice to switch things up and try something different. I’m making some changes to my 120. Sold my large red severums earlier this week. Was getting bored with them plus I need that tank for a new secret project. Won’t be as colorful and active as your Mbuna tank, but I’m super excited for the change.

Brian's Fish Tanks Trust me, it’s not going to be too exciting, at least for KZread purposes. You know me, I’m into boring bottom dwellers that you never see. Any guesses? 🤣🤣🤣

Brian - the Metriaclima sp. msobo deep - the males turn blue with black spangles, the females stay a yellow/orange color.

Hi Brian, have you ever thought about keeping some of the smaller centrals. I have some rainbow cichlids (multispinosa) and also cryptoheros altoflavus which are ok with plants

I’ve kept smaller ones from time to time over the years. Just seem to like the bigger ones

Check out Rachel O'Leary's scaping challenge. Use an old tank, use only scaping material you have on hand that you have used before or you can collect out in your yard, stock with plants, fish and shrimps you already have. no 1, 2, grow plants already to be plants. Use substrate you already have from an old tank, or from already open bags. You can take whole plants or cuttings to use. Break any scaping rules you want to. Make some video of you scaping it and post to your channel. Take some photos and send them to Rachel at her instagram which you can find a link to on her YT channel. She will show clips of your pics and link your video to hers. Lots of people are going to try it. Tag other aquarists you want to see try it. Goal is to have fun, keep busy, make content, and keep sane. Remember there are no rules so do what you want to do.

The stones are also from Universal Rocks. They are not real.
