Can't wait to see Jackie set some records with the M2. The mechanical grip was already insane and the aero just brought it to another level. For those who may not know, it's producing over 2X the downforce of a Porsche cayman GT4 RS at 120MPH.

Interesting thing to note, we definitely need to rework the suspension setup a little to suit the aero now. Once we get it all dialed in it’s gonna be a beast!!

At first I wasn’t convinced by the new M2 but with mod and that aero oh yeah it looks so damn good!

Man the level of details and engineering that goes into your cars is what's keeping us here. Since the S2K I've been blown away by the professionalism of your team and the technical knowledge. Keep it up Mr Ding!

We think this looks better than the M4 GT4, especially the rear wing. Haha

Nice looking car guys , would have thought a gurney flap on the rear aerofoil would compensate for the bonnet vent . Doing something similar on our e36 GTR . Main rad angled and ducted through the top of the bonnet/ hood and a big carbon rear aerofoil.

So far we are really happy with the brakes. We talked about this a little in other videos, but the stock brakes are already massive, plus you can fit 18s on this if you want unlike the F87 M2C. The brake pads are MASSIVE, which really help manage the overall brake temps. Switching to a traditional BBK might end up being a smaller brake than OE in comparison.

Definitely!! Livery + aggressive fitment + aero makes the M2 like a miniature DTM car!!

Damn now I need to see if someone is going to make a duct only option for street driven.

I believe they’ll be doing the M4, so a lot of front aero stuff will translate. The rear kit, we will talk to them and source something!

Now that's a proper aero kit for this car. Now only is it functional but it improves the looks as well... substantially. Well done guys!

Spoiler only has air flowing over the top of it, a wing has air flowing through top and bottom!

How are you testing airflow of the vehicle and aero kit with out a wind tunnel??

Not an expert on this kinds of things but what if you guys replace the push fans for the oil cooler and make it into a pull fan and that way no ducts needed for the oil cooler. Yes it may introduce more heat in the engine bay but you can always cut more holes on the hood for more vents 😂

4:28 It looks like he could be working in AutoCad software to do his 3D modeling. Hmm. I can't tell from the distance. It has been years since I used that. I Mostly work with Autodesk Maya for animations.

Did they already have an M2 scan file? Or did they scan yours?

You should sell this aero kit given the work you put into building it. I feel like you would have a lot of interest in a truly functional kit. Any plans for the rear section to accommodate wider tires?

This headlight is the non-laser, basic boi offering for the M2 haha. Our HEA car cheaped out and we’re ok with it

Very surprised by the complete lack of downforce on the stock M2 and the front oil cooler design. I'm also surprised at how far BMW went to balance the car front to rear by adding so much rear weight. Car looks amazing with the new aero, really looking forward to track testing!

They couldn’t go super fancy and all since it’s still supposed to be a chunk cheaper than the M3/4’s with the same engine/drivetrain/suspension setup hah. PS even the M4 Comp and all have a steel trunk

I wouldn’t say that they added weight to the rear, they more reduced weight on the front by Aluminum hood and fenders

​@JackieDing86 Surprised even the M4 Comp has a steel boot. Considering the prior generation had cfrp boot, CF drives shaft, CF strut brace, forged wheels and the current gen has none of that for more money...

@@Matthew-nl9kd also CF driveshafts had been canceled during last F8x series production G8x now has enough space to fit a standard stee/Aluminum strut brace, in F8x there wasn’t enough space
