I would refer to that as a ribbon snake due to the stripes vs an eastern garter snake which is more speckled. I guess they are all from the garter snake genus, just different species.

We'll be down there in 2 weeks to do some exploring. Our first venture to the Ozark National Forest and we can't wait!

Great stuff guys as usual. What’s the music you used on this?

Are there trails in the ozarks that more of a full-size overlanding truck could fit on. I currently have a 23 tundra TRD pro with 3.5 inches of total lift and 35 inch tires. Seems most of these trails you run may be too tight for my truck? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Great video, as always! On a side topic, we are heading down to Arkansas for a week starting on Father's day. We won't have the jeep, taking the silverado this trip. Do you have any ideas for a nice county drive? We are heading to eureka springs and may head towards jasper and such and maybe cut over to eastern ok on the way back to iowa. Considering the great river road south of jasper back to the west. Suggestions are appreciated! Either way, thanks for more great videos!

We didn't get the entire road in since it was already a very long day but we got in Falling water( very busy there) , six fingers, and the hidden one behind 6 fingers. I forgot the name. The gentleman at the Pelsor country store told us the name of it. Btw that's a cool old store and worth a stop on its own. Anyway, thanks again!

Kara: touches snake… Snake: but did you die? Lol!!! Garter snakes are beautiful!! Judging by size it was probably female :) they are ovoviviparous (live babies, not eggs) I hate catching them now a days because they’re musk smells so bad and will smell on your hands for days haha! I’ve been pulling over and doing u turns every day hoping to save red racers and bull snakes here in Colorado, but usually they’ve already been hit. :( Found a box turtle today upside down and bleeding from a car. Hope he pulls through. But doesn’t look good 😢

25:39 I’m not getting down hard on anyone just care about fellow camper/off-roaders/overlanders. I don’t know if he has anything in the gas can but I’d assume so. Probably would remove the cans from the cooking zone while cooking. Better safe than sorry.
