I completely agree with everything you said about _WHYY _*_is_*_ it_ with people always just throwing themselves and their propositions at popular/attractive guys in fiction like that, especially in high school set fiction. _Do_ people really do that?!? 😶🙃😅😅 🤣 (i have no idea either; I was homeschooled) 😹😹😹 I've actually *never* read anything on kindle unlimited before, myself, but I very recently decided that I would start .. just to see how I'll like it or not! ((Also, because FB ads or whatever keep making me curious[ for some reason], lately.)) LOLL I'm a very physical-copy type reader. I really like to be able to physically feel and smell the book (I'm..weird?? IDKK- Moving On! Looll!) and see the pages stacking up from one side to the other and being able to just open a book to specific spots without having to scroll or anything if I just wanna reference something real quick or whatever; I dunno. There's also kinda just something about having physical possession of something, for me. I guess. 🤷‍♀️ You can take it anywhere, without having to tote anything extra, JUST *_it_* ?? And the things that can go wrong that might ruin or destroy a physical copy I feel are just more concrete or possible to [try] avert, somehow? I dunno _Maybe that's just me_ BUT, I have been trying new things / expanding my horizons, a little bit-these days!!! I actually listened to an audiobook for the very very first time ever, not counting children's books recorded on cassette tapes from when I was a small/young/ little human; despite having been meaning to give audiobooks a try for years, because I both kinda have a big soft fond-spot for narration[ in general] and do occasionally enjoy listening to some radio dramas &/or audio drama CDs or such too. LOL😆 (I honestly don't know why it's taken me so many years to finally give audiobook listening a try!) It took me some getting used to it, but I actually enjoyed the experience, although I discovered that personally I really can't listen to a book on audio unless I have the time and focus to dedicate 100% of my attention in that moment TO listening to it and doing nothing else but listening to it..or else I get totally lost and have to go back, over and over, and comprehend nothing and make zero actual progress. I'm also realizing that I just remember things better if I see them than if I hear them, generally, and I actually really really just ENJOY being able to see everything all of the spelling and the punctuation and formatting and everything! That's almost as much of the fun and the experience of it for me as the characters or the story or anything is!! So, I don't think audiobook is personally how I'm ever going to be consuming the majority of my reading usually, but I am still definitely game for dipping my toes into it again some other/future time anyway too. ^-^ I'm really glad I gave it a try.🙂 (Hopefully I will similarly have fun with reading KU books too)

I love the folding laundry and talking about books. I feel like it hate to be so hard to do and to edit but I love watching it

that's the thing, after reading the first one i realized it was a trilogy and the reviews for each book get progressively worse. it's a no for me haha

I really like Elle Kennedy's sport romances. Not sure if they are actually classed as such but I really like those!

I've noticed that too in New Adult books, where there's a small group of guys that "everybody either wants to be them or sleep with them" and...no, that wasn't a thing at any school I know of. Dax by Shannyn Leah is a really good Romance.

As soon as you said the characters named Charlotte and Grayson, I knew that book wasn't going to turn out great because I'm rewatching Revenge with my roommates and we all fucking hate Charlotte Grayson.

For a sports romance pick Parental Guidance by Avery Flynn is cute easy spring/summer read with mutual pining...it's an ice hockey romance and cute is the best word to describe it lol i liked it...there are a few steamy scenes and they have chemistry so yea hope u pick it up....

I actually ended up reading the entire Madison Kate series by Tate James after your easily influenced video, and it was pretty good. So maybe you could go back to that? I’d be interested to see what you think!

In a time where you can literally message people on various social media you REALLY do not have to find out someone's address 💀 how creepy

If you are looking for a really angsty romance read, I can recommend "Logan" by Jay McLean, really great book in my opinion and another series that I really loved was the "raleigh rebels series" by callie hart. I think the characters in these books are all pretty great and their romances are awesome, I enjoyed them a lot. I actually got back into reading after years by reading a book you recommended being punk 57 and ever since then I have found my passion for reading again which also helped me tremendously through a really difficult time in my life, so thank you for your videos. (have to say, not all recommendations were a hit for me, but still, I found a lot of good books through you)

I’d recommend Sea of Ruin for dark romance- but uhhh... it’s wild. You’ll know what I mean if you read ig

I recently read Meghan Quinn's The Strike Out it's like book seven in that baseball series and towards the end, the characters joke whether there will be an eight-year separation (referencing Locker Room), and they were like of course not who does that...so Meghan heard our grievances with time jumps 😂😂

I've recently discovered Natasha Ander on KU and I've been thoroughly enjoying her blacklist! I recommend The Wingman, it was so good that I've been holding it hostage on my kindle lol The hero is his brother's wingman at a bar and agrees to distract the "less attractive, plus size" sister of the woman his brother is into. The heroine finds out, gets pissed and because the hero feels bad strikes a deal with the heroine to be her fake boyfriend and attend her other sisters wedding. Terrible description, but I didn't want to make this comment forever long lol Love your videos!

I love sports romances too, and I liked On a Tuesday. The rest of them I haven't read. If you need recommendations, try reading CU Hockey series by Eden Finley and Saxon James. It's pretty sweet!

I don't usually read sports romances, but I recently discovered "Catch & Cradle" by Katia Rose on Kindle Unlimited and I'm so looking forward to it! It's a sapphic new adult lacrosse romance!

Not an N/A sports romance but available on KU is a new rockstar romance duet by Lauren Rowe called Falling Out of Hate With You and Falling Into Love With You. She has been hit or miss for me but I really enjoyed both books.

Dude I DNF’d “The Art of Falling for You” and you put it perfectly. The “romance” between them had no foundation. The characters were unmemorable and honestly unlikeable. I’ve tried a couple Maya Hughes books and sadly I don’t think I will continue reading her books

Chan! For the love of all things written and smutty please give some of these adult romances a try?! I can’t watch you read bad NA anymore - it’s killing me! KU books I loved - Always only you (and all the Bergman books!) by Chloe Liese, the Cornerstone (and all the walsh siblings series!) by Kate Canterbary and Repeat by Kylie Scott. Or if you want something light and fun and sports romance (which is a bit silly but wholly entertaining!) try PUCKED by Helena Hunting. Hope you find something that makes you happy!

i read the revenge pact back in january, and i really wanted to read the other books in the series until i read the end of it (it was kind of disappointing) idk if you know but the author has a playlist for the book which was cool to listen to while reading the book hehe

Try Mariana Zapata for a good sports romance read. Kulti, The Wall of Winnipeg, or From Lukov with Love are all good starts. Soccer, football, and ice skating.

I have no idea if you have read The Fallen Men Series by Giana Darling but I'm enjoying it quite a lot so far. It's MC dark romances with taboo tropes like teacher/student, age gap, dating your fathers arch nemesis, dating a psychopath, ETC! It's on kindle unlimited. Love your videos!

Ok so I read most of Maya Hughes baseball series and I started at the beginning and ALL of them had a great build up during college and the romances were great then they can’t live in the same city after college so they break up and 10 years later there in love and having kids like??! If she put more time in the after 10 years part of the books, the books would be 5/5. Plus since they all have this component, you get tired of it quickly and already know what to expect.

Hey Chandler, I loved this and all your videos. I will recommend to read Clayton and Dallas (a duet) by Rachelle Mills in KU. It’s paranormal but so grounded with tons of angsty moments .🥰

Idk if you’ve read any of the hot jocks series by Kendall Ryan books but there quite good their hockey novels and I throughly enjoyed them. All the books follows different men on the team and I love when authors write books like this cause we get little glimpses of the previous characters and get to keep up with them as well.;) Also T.O Smith novels on kindle are amazing she’s a MC romance writer and I LOVE these books!!

Not a dark romance but I have been dying for you to read the kingmaker series by kennedy Ryan the romance aspect for me was 10/10 the story is more than romance so plot holes in the other parts that fully didn't work for me but I love the leads esp. the heroine and the romance was great imo.

There's an indie romance that I really like!! "The sleeping arrangement" by Neva Bell is a sports romance with forced proximity and a bit of a mystery too! I think you'd enjoy it

This last month I read 10 books by Victoria denault she writes adult hockey romance but I feel like it feels close to the angst level of new adult. I would reccomend her for anyone looking for sports romance I can’t believe I had never heard of her before

I felt the exact same way about the Revenge Pact. I ateeee the beginning of the boos and the ending I was sort of meh. However, the Romantic Pact which is the second book in the series I loveeed. It's a completely different vibe, even the author is different, it's written by Meghan Quinn but it was sooo good, I highly recommend that one. The third one I hated, the Relationship Pact, not for me.

I liked The Romance Pact way more than The Revenge Pact. I’m normally not a big Meghan Quinn person but the book was pretty good. I thought The Revenge Pact was a little basic and cringe at times.
