    Esthetician- If youre flaking on the nose, exfoliate with some AHA or BHA and then add some niacinamide for hydration. Hope this helps❤

    @@MorganTurnerMakeup This video was so helpful - especially with the closeups. Thank you! To exfoliate with an AHA or BHA - here are two recommendations: 1. Good Molecules Glycolic Toner (amazing, especially for around the nose and mouth area). And, 2. the Andalou Naturals pumpkin enzyme mask. You'll be amazed at how smooth and silky your skin is from both of these things. They give you instant results + long-term benefits for your skin too. Chemical exfoliants have transformed my skin. :)

    fair cool 10 is a lot pinker in person than online. I am very fair to the point sometimes the lightest shade doesn't work. But I blended this put and its kinda of a perfect match very close to my Haus labs foundation in 015.

    I got mine Thursday and wore Friday. I have oily skin and am in my 40s. I used jelly pop primer below and powdered. I also sprayed with CT Airbrush flawless setting spray. It’s normal for me to powder and setting spray no matter the foundation. The foundation lasted all day with my busy healthcare job in the heat (a/c was inadequate). I got 20 light cool and it may be too dark for now but with summer it may match soon. Going to get 10 to see if I can mix them.

    I bought this foundation because I needed one for the summer, and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an expensive matte foundation. I’ll have to exfoliate, and prep my skin before using it because my skin is a little dry, but it’s worth it because I get oily in the heat of summer. Thanks for the review.

    Morgan, if you’re looking to get rid of the dry patches on your face, you need to double cleanse the oil cleanser will gently takeoff the dry patches. After that you need to use a liquid exfoliate. I like the hylaron AHA toner it’s a lactic acid treatment or Pacifica AHA BHA toner. then go in with a hydrating toner. I like the peach and Lily one or Fenty milky toner is amazing and then a moisturizer. If you use a liquid exfoliate, it really takes the dead skin off and the hydrating toner will deeply hydrate your skin to keep dead skin from coming back

    I know it sounds insane and I was firmly in your camp until I finally broke and bought just ONE high end brush….but omg, the actual difference you see in your makeup application, the amount of product that actually doesn’t get sucked up into your brush and the ease of cleaning? It made me a convert. You don’t necessarily have to spend $50 though. BK Beauty , Anisa Beauty brushes, and the occasional sale when Rose and Ben Beauty have them are great brushes. I think if you use Shop Pay to buy from Anisa they run a sale quite often with their point multiplier for the amount you’ve accumulated they are around $28. And BK Beauty, I see them on sale quite often for like $25 or so. But I’m just saying that while I know it sounds crazy, once you use them, you’ll understand why. Oh and they just last so much longer than the cheaper brushes I’ve found.

    Hi Morgan. I recommend making a paste of a bit of baking soda with some yogurt or any dairy product and use that paste to gently scrub your nose area .The lactic acid in the yogurt gently exfoliates as well as the baking soda . You can also pour a little baking soda into your regular cleanser on your hand and do the same . It removes dry skin patches without irritation .

  • @lar8200

    @lar8200

    Baking soda is pretty high in Ph, i wouldn't recommend that for dry or sensitive skin as can make you more dry and irritated. But cool if it works for you.
