Morgan, I just wanted to say that as someone who loves makeup and has been a follower of a LOT of beauty channels, I’ve witnessed the beauty community online become saturated with people who are dishonest/have the “mean girl” mentality, which makes me appreciate your channel and content and everything you do tenfold. You’re such a breath of fresh air AND so informative about products that you’re basically the only beauty influencer I watch religiously :)

Agreed. The groundwork palette was a waste of $ for me.

Something I find interesting is that Teresa Is Dead (another makeup review youtuber that I watch) has stated that she loves the Maybelline Sunkissed Blush! She even just put it in her top makeup of 2024 review video! It's crazy how someone loves a makeup product, while another person hates it. I tend to try out makeup products that youtubers who have similar skin texture as me (dry/achne/bumps) recommend, but sometimes the products that get great reviews don't work for me either. You never know until you try it yourself I guess!

The only thing I disagreed on was the Blooming Romance pallet. I love it but those are my colors. I do agree with you on the Kaja trios. I have an older one and it is spectacular. One of my worst products is the new Tom Ford foundation. I’m 44 with severely dry skin. It was patchy in some places but great in others. I’m trying new ideas to make it work. I have it so I need to figure it out.

I returned the DM palette the next day I tried it. I saw creators really forcing themselves to like it and make it work and I think it’s because they don’t want to offend the brand but I mean… if it’s not great it’s not great

I agree with you about the Groundwork palette. I've tried really hard to get it to work because it's so pretty.

I SKIPPED AHEAD TO WATCH THE EYEBROWS FALL DOWN AND FALL THEY DID

The ND highlighter imo is like the old milk highlighters. I do think it’s good, but they are to soft (almost like a cream) so I think a finger would be the best way to apply them. I’ve noticed that this type of formula is just idk it doesn’t work well with my brushes & the finger seems to be the best tool

Literally have saved so much money with this video!! I was debating whether to buy the LM and HG powders and so glad I didn’t !! Thanks for always giving us close ups of the makeup. Really helpful ❤

I loved the kaja trio in the blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

When it comes to the Summer Fridays lip oil, I also did not like it at first. I thought it was actually quite thick and it sunk into the lines of my lips, making it look super unflattering. BUT, now I apply it differently. Instead of going in directly with the doe foot, I use my finger, and that works really well for me. Warms up the product and it doesn’t sink into my lip lines. Thank goodness I figured it out or else I would’ve been pissed about wasting $$ 😆

Honestly I'm glad for this video because I have the Kulfi brow gel and feel the same way you do. I think we have similar brows and I was wondering--literally earlier today--if Kulfi worked for you or not because I was feeling crazy. Hi dear Morgan, loved this, so honest, and really entertaining!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩What did i really not like, i don't use makeup everyday, so, my opinion does not go super quickly, but about the Lisa Eldridge skintint i have only 1 opinion: it dries out my skin. DM palettes still testing now and than, dont have them so long, i think this spring, and i can also chat with Chelsea if i have questions! What else? Hourglass powder, it is, i do not know what it is? Makeup must give something extra? Still testing this Hourglass one, not super happy with this one yet. Prada eyeshadow, i love that one! I’m a dry skin girl and disliked the Laura Mercier and Hourglass pressed powders too! You are spot on.

We shouldn’t have to spend a lot of time trying to make a product work. There are plenty of great products on the market that apply easily and look good without a major effort.

I actually really like the Sunkisser blush. I apply liquid blush by putting it on my had an pre blending it fully before apply. The blush that I find does what you’re describing is the Elf liquid blush. Bought one. Hated it. Everyone was still raving about it so thought I was wrong. Ended up going back 2 additional times for different colors. Can’t stand any of them.

Morgan I’m curious have tried the Lawless powder foundation?

Morgan have you tried the erborian green cc cream. I use it before most foundations. It’s lovely.

It's okay to have a bad attitude about bad makeup that you wasted your money on!

You are so right about most of the products mentioned. On the ND highlighter, I am wondering if you received a bad one? I am 59 years young, my skin is also dry with pores and wrinkles and the highlighter is great on me. It does not emphasize my texture or settle in my wrinkles. It just glows. Morgan I truly enjoy your videos and I respect your judgment. If I am unsure of a product, I would not purchase it until I hear from you first. I truly enjoyed this video! 🙃💯✌🏽

I love the Natasha Denona Hy Gen Infused Glow Beautifier. It is not chunky or glittery on my skin at all. It melts in and gives me a high shine glow. I am sad it does not work for you.

I do like the ND as just a highlighter. Maybe my view is tainted wanting to make it work. Will have to try tomorrow.

Spiiiiiiiicy!!!! OK, so I bought the Diamond Perfector because of the cute cute packaging. hmmmmmm..... for me it works more like a glow under foundation, instead of actually foundation. I have been mixing into foundations as well, and that has worked for me. It is such cute packaging that it is a shame to waste, but by itself, it is just too glowy.

I would have used the primer on one side of the face I’m so happy finally someone agree with me on the Refy concealer I didn’t even buy it I swatched it on my hand & it was so dry looking & cakey I already knew & I’m not even dry I’m oily/combo I haven’t seen one bad review on the concealer so I don’t know what’s wrong with us lol I knew those Huda creamy obsession palette weren’t going to be good because when she came out with the matte obsession those had some of the same formula I thought I was going to love it but not even 30min my eye look was gone I’m glade I didn’t buy lol

I truly trust your opinion and reviews, but I accidentally bought that hourglass powder confusing it with your hourglass loose setting powder review. Being that I had already purchased it I tried it and o actually love it. It's the most blurring powder I've ever used. When I say filter, I say fiiiiiilter. Anywho, i still value your opinion but will definitely try some stuff and see if it works for me

The elf lip oils 😭😭😭 I know a lot of ppl liked these, but I tried them this spring and they were so drying!! Stayed on for about an hour and made my usually soft lips terribly dry! Still love elf tho. Be careful with these 😅

The Triclone fondation from Hauslab is the absolute worst. It separate almost instantly and even my dry skin looked greasy. I returned it.

How are these products getting past the testing stages? They’re horrible! 😂

I only have one of the beauty bentos and the one I got is all shimmers so I didn’t even know that they even come with chunky glitter ones. And that’s what it is, a chunky glitter. You’re technically not supposed to apply it like that but it could be a preference thing if you want to do it. But you’re just supposed to tap like a little bit, idk how to explain it. I just know that Kaja is supposed to bring Kbeauty to western beauty and I see a lot of Koreans use a base color, then a shimmer, then a chunky glitter around the eyes or in the middle. But if that’s not your thing I totally get that. I personally don’t know how to make chunky glitters work on my eyes so I get it but I loved those two colors you had just there. Maybe I’d like to try them out one day 😂

Nooo the kulfi brow gel is my holy grail! Even like it better than rare. But my brows are thin and I don’t need the mega hold everyday that the elf gives

Have you tried shaking the refy concealer? Like give it a really good shake, and apply in small amounts. Had the same problem with it looking dry.. then i shook it. And I was shook.

I saw Hannah Poston post a video about the Refy concealer. It says it needs to be shaken really well before each use. Did you do that? I'm wondering if you're getting all the ingredients mixed together or just some of them that are not sitting well?

If you are looking for a good waterproof pressed powder Catrice Prime and Fine is an amazing waterproof pressed powder . I have oily skin and it helps control oil and sweat without looking cakey . Best part it’s under $10 .

The ABH balm must be aimed at either those that don't do skincare as there are many that don't, or perhaps men where most just use shampoo to wash their face.I did not expect a Laura Mercier powder to be in this list as usually her powders are good

I love the new ND highlight 😅😂 but I’m in my 30s. It looks good on my skin. I also like just using my fingers I don’t use a brush with it.

Sorry but I have to say I do like the Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched skin tint. I prefer it to my other skin tints anyway but in saying that I do have bizarre skin lol albeit my skin is not dry or oily. The only thing I regret is my shade selection as I got this when I had a deep tan last year & we're practically having no sun in the UK this summer soooo...yeah....bit of a waste! Hey maybe it's cos I tried so desperately to love it after paying £40 but it doesn't pill & fades evenly on me. I'm actually surprised at the level of coverage for a skin tint which I like as I have redness & hyperpigmentation. I wouldn't recommend it in ultra hot weather however as irrespective of the setting spray or powder last year on holiday the skin tint just slipped away. Well I've disproven my own case - wrong shade, wrong climate 😂😅

Normally you can make less than stellar makeup work and pull together a decent look but I have to agree with you on all of these products- truly awful. They make you look unwell. Please go take them off and let your skin relax. ❤
