New 2024 Toyota Tacomas ARE NOT SELLING… Here’s Why!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Why aren’t new 2024 Toyota Tacomas not selling? You mean to tell me, people aren’t interested in spending over $50K for a 4 cylinder midsize pickup truck? You mean to tell me people aren’t buying into overpriced pickups made in Mexico? And you mean to tell me, people aren’t buying into Toyota’s new woke-culture BS? Hmm fascinating.
We saw it first with the new 2022-2024 Tundra, people haven’t wanted it. It’s overpriced, offers a complex smaller displacement motor and comes with a slew of issues. Toyota is no longer the king of reliable. Sorry fam. People are voting with their wallets… and they’re saying NO to this 2.4L 4 banger Tacoma. Hard pass.
Did I miss anything?
Thanks for watching as always. Please consider Liking and Subscribing for more videos of me shooting you straight. I won’t fanboy or simp for the brand. I woke you all that!

Mexico has 42 car makers in the country with around 500 different models being produced there. Its one of the best industries for automotive manufacturing. Whats wrong with that? I understand the sentiment due to less jobs in the USA but offshoring has been ongoing for decades. Newsflash, Toyota is not the only car manufacturer moving their assembly lines to Mexico. Companies like BMW, Ford, Teslas have all done this. Offshoring to Mexico was primarily triggered by the tariffs on China.

Greed? Toyota and its dealers are allowed to ask whatever price they want for their product. It’s their property. In turn, you as a consumer are free to not spend your money with them. Hey Untamed, I just test drove a 2024 Tacoma trd off road today and other than the new 8 speed gearbox, I wasn’t impressed. The initial throttle response (low range) was impressive but when I floored the throttle to get on the freeway, I wasn’t impressed compared to the 3rd gen V6 powerband. Noticed the cheapness of the interior with more cheap plastic than the previous gen Tacoma. The hood I could see vibrate on the rear of the hood closest to the windshield on the drivers side and again, the truck literally felt like a four cylinder that was out of juice when I got on it at freeway speeds. I know advocates like TRDJon, robmotive, and the TFE crew (among others) rant and rave about how infinitely superior it is to the “old gen” 3rd gen Tacoma but I’m not feeling or agreeing with their enthusiasm about this new platform. I guess I’m not drinking the same Toyota Kool-aid as they are, nor am I politically obligated to the Toyota higher ups as well. Love my 2022 3rd gen TRD PRO Tacoma and maybe I’d change my tune if they dropped the price(s) to a realistic MSRP but I know I’d be drinking the Toyota “Kool-aid” ad well. 😳
