The current captur also has that cabinet style glove box but only in left hand drive, possibly due to the location of the fuse box in UK spec cars

Gorgeous! I have a 4 year old Captur Dynamique, and this new model has a big lift in terms of the features and design! Loving the seats and gear box design. Well done.

As a Renault Clio owner, this is definitely on top of my shortlist, when that lovely car change time comes around, my dear wife has a Capture and she loves it, well done again Renault, great cars indeed.

@@donatasm8600 I can help you with that. We own a fully loaded Captur with the 1.2 TCe engine with 120 hp with EDC automatic purchased brand new. Right off the bat I will tell you that for such a small car it is very thirsty. After 10k km the best we got in the city (where it is mostly driven) is 10l/100km. Pretty bad. If you are looking for economy, buy the 1.5 diesel with 110 hp and manual, hugely reliable engine, great fuel economy and not that much of a difference in performance. As for reliability, we only had one issue with the infotainment system as the touchscreen won't work. We took it to the dealer and they replugged the fuse or something and it was fine. Other mentions would be the fact that the interior is very cheap, everything is hard touch plastic and it is quite cramped inside. We really like the huge ground cleareance. The steering wheel is extremely light though, but overall it is pleasant to drive. I really love the new Captur and start considering buying it more and more.

I like it. It's in keeping with their recent design language, it is definitely recognizable as a Renault. Restrained styling means it'll have mass appeal. Shame about the PWM-dimmed driver's display. My eyes notice the flicker in my peripheral vision and it is very annoying.

Have just ordered the S model in grey with black roof and 18 inch diamond cut alloys....a real looker nothing else comes close !

As a co owner of an existing Captur, this one looks identical n different, all at the same time. Glad they revamped the interior's philosophy n maintained some what of the exterior design cues. Kudos renault. Hopefully Renault Malaysia will introduce an upgrade or exchange program when this one launches here later.

I'm a huge plug in fan so well done Renault. That glove box looks fantastic , shame we who drive on the left won't have it, we'll get the fuse box holder that can barely house a pair of gloves ....

The floating centre consul with the e gear lever is a £1000 added extra with the "comfort pack" which is a crazy price. Apart from that gripe it's a great looking car.

How about head and leg room space. Can a 6.2 man drive comfortably without looking down. Back seat comfort. ? This is just an overview can you review please.

I fell in love with it as first sight, wish I could get one in the states.

I have just bought the S Edition and it is brilliant, Mine is a 1.3 auto, it is beautifully built.

I was going to put an order in for a 150 S Edition on Friday but will wait now until the new year as Renault seem to have rectified all the niggles that I have with the present model like the vacant centre console, basic looking and condensed control buttons and hopefully the lack of Apple car play in the I Link system (only available on ILink2) which wasn’t available on the GT which is why I dropped to the S Edition as car play was available on the lesser MediaNav + I don’t like leather or Syth Leather seats.

Beautiful outside, amazing inside, comfortable with great materials used and engines are top notch.

Really like this little gem, but I'm reading complaints about the dual clutch and the hesitation it causes with start up when you try to enter roundabouts and merge in traffic. Is this really a big issue? Is there a way around it?

Hard job deciding between this and peugeot 2008. Marvelous job for both french brands. I think the Renault has a little bit more power with their 4 cylinder petrol engine which also costs less than the 3 cylinder Peugeot rival.

Again with the dynamic filming... Guys, use the camera stabiliser, at least...

Great improvement with better plastics and attractive interior. Cosmetic exterior improvements whilst retaining the essence of the original Captur which my wife is driving with great enjoyment. Don’t want her to see this one as it will be highly desirable.

when 4wd?

I love my 2014 captur but was going to head over to mazda for a cx5 for my new car. This however, has my full attention.

I would have liked the hybrid to have more range on electric. say 50 miles. I wonder how much it would increase the price by doing so.

yes LIKE IT . renault have pushed the style boat out and upped the tec side with a far improved interior so i went onto a renault sales sight . i asked for auto petrol on the bose spec and a spare tyre, in mettalic with diffrent colour top and a couple of small priced extras NOW REMEMBERING THE price mentioned in vid £15000 when i received a final summery it was closer to WAIT FOR IT , £26,300 all of a sudden it loses its attraction to run down the showroom and order one even with a generous warranty. wait till this time next year and see if it can be bought with a generous discount

As someone who is looking to buy in this segment, I was leaning towards the Seat Arona. The new Peugeot 2008 looks nice, but the dash and controls are not user friendly. This Captur however, has really made me think. The exterior looks ok, but the interior looks much better than all the rivals in my opinion. So, if it drives well and matches rivals on performance and fuel consumption, I think I may well go for the Captur.

When introducing in Middle East

The Top Model will be around 18'000+- spec'd out🤔 & this is the Interior the Duster needed ;(

WHAT ABOUT THE BACK SEATS FREE AREA

renault have done it again, the car looks great. The only criticism I can give is the rear passenger seats are still the same split, why not have them as individual, increasing more options for stowage and passenger comfort, imagine the centre seat folding down and the left and right passenger still has their own space rather than squashed together which is the only option at this time....I have a 2015 captur and whenever I pick me friends up from the airport this is the only complaint, , ah well time yet to improve on rear seat options one can hope.

How on earth does it have 536l boot?! Is there any room left for passengers? Someone should double check that, since it is unheard of (by far) in a car of this size.

This version looks very appealing unlike the current version. Interior looks a lot Upmarket. Not sure if it will make it to the Indian market. Well done Renault!

I just decided to postpone my purchase...waiting for this model instead

Well done, Renault. Interior is a big improvement on the current model and exterior styling a step forward. Tough choice, Renault Captur or the new Peugeot 2008. Both great cars.

They need to bring these to the USA !!

Nice to see that, unlike the VAG Group, the new Captur will offer an electric sliding roof - shame on VAG for omitting this option on the T-Cross and Skoda Kamig and on Seat for not offering it on the Seat Arona

Well done Renault a definite improvement, but personally I prefer the new Peugeot 2008.

U'r "U" is fun sounding

The front bonet looks like the MG one

Seems to have taken some inspiration from Volvo - the floating console, portrait screen and curved headrests. That rear pillar is very like the XC40 in the way the different colours meet. No bad thing - it’s all very smart and a huge improvement over the existing model. Will be interesting to see the interior with a manual gearbox, presumably you lose that floating console, unless no manual will be available?

Love the floating gear stick but the front of the car just doesn't look 'new'. Disappointed

New cars from french makers like 208, Clio this Captur or new 2008, have aged the rest of the category, mostly the german rivals. Even the new T-cros and T-roc are like a past generation cars. And no word about quality.... even Audi A1 is full of hard plastics in dashboard or front doors, or the ridiculous and terrible black piano fake plastics.
