I think most people missed the fact that the looped cable was done on purpose. It's meant to be a nod to old school tank breathers and visible cables. I liked it.

stephen hadley I like the loop on the 800 models but the 1100 loop looked very odd from the start. I think they made a larger loop to fit the wider gauge.

Agree. Probably you can help me. There’s this dealer close to me with 2020 and 2021, i like the pipes on two sides of the 2020 and at the same time it is 5k less. On the 2021, i like the handle bars better and feels more ergonomic. If I buy the 2020, can I upgrade the bars like the 2021 has? Thanks.

The sport pro is so beautiful it hurts.... but in order to pay that kind of money ducati needs to implant an extra cylinder (or 2) and raise the bhp at least at the level of xsr 900 or z 900 rs. Who spends almost 17 grand for 86 hp?? Seriously now that s a real market suggestion?

Took this 1078cc motor for a spin many years ago with the Monster 1100 evo. Had a set of boombing Termi's under the tail, and the bike was brimming with character and torque. Power-wheelies simple as a flick of the wrist in 1st and 2nd gear. Marzocchi and Sachs with forged magnesium wheels. Was an awesome ride. I think they've neutered all the power and character out of this engine in the Scrambler, due to stupid regs. Here's what it USED TO sound like--- kzread.info/dash/bejne/hmuT25d9l7bJlZc.html

A beautiful bike. But for the size of the engine and weight, it certainly needs some extra power. It has nearly 50 percent more cc than the scrambler 803, but makes only 15 horses more than the smaller scrambler. It should be making similar power to the BMW r ninet, which is also aircooled. Otherwise, it is a very nice chassis, with great suspension, breaks and electronic aids, BUT on a SLOW BIKE.

Ducati is known for creating a fast- user-friendly, unreliable bikes. But since AUDI took over Ducati has really upped their reliability game. I'm debating over a used Ducati monster (2014 or 2015) or the scrambler. I've been waiting for an aggressive-looking/feeling scrambler that didn't ride like a chick's bike to come out. I do wish it had just a hair more power, but the Sport Pro was almost exactly what I was looking for.

Joke bike, with the big giveaway being the ridiculous blocky tread tires which will be a detriment to the 99.8% of the riding these bikes will ever do (all asphalt). This is the perfect bike for someone who wants to own a Ducati, but who would never be caught dead in an afternoon rain shower or anything less than 76 degrees and sunny out. Notice the open faced, 3/4 helmets (and the one guy with goggles....) - yeah, time to head to Starbucks! I can't believe no one in the video is wearing a scarf.
