I have the mt60rs on my r ninet. I absolutely love them, good in the dry and even OK on gravel but living in the North of England I especially enjoy their wet performance! Great video dude, keep up the good work. 👍

Ducati air cooled engines are peach and last of their kind. I terribly miss my 696. You can feel every component in the engine working and clicking just like a fine mechanical Swiss watch. Great video

Reminds me of the Ducati Monster 696 for some reason. May be it's those Termignoni exhausts, may be it's that sweet engine pulling relentlessly like a freight train, not to mention it's appealing minimalist looks. Kinda interesting that you liked 1100 version more than 800. Mostly journalists are saying that the 800 is the way to go, cause it's nimble and has enough power. And 1100 Scrambler is quite a lot more expensive.

Yea but the 800 have terrible suspension, bad brakes and boring engines. But indeed the 1100 is massively overpriced

I think you really want to have the low-down torque of the 1100. Peak power doesn't matter as much.

Nice bike, a bit expensive. I like the Beeline module.

I was really considering buying this bike, but I find the LCD dash hideous. I know they want to keep it 'retro' , but if they want to make it retro, put an old school double analog, like what Kawasaki did with the Z900 RS. Now I am torn between the Scrambler 1100 and the Honda CB1000R, but I am not sure I will like the Honda 4 cylinder motor (I have only had Ducatis before). Anyway, great video. Thanks for it.

What are your thoughts on the newer bikes coming out with these Asymmetrical heads up displays? Mt range also does this! I personally don't like it! It's cool if you look at it, if it's not your bike! However it would annoy me a lot if I where the owner driving it every day.

Only the MT 09 had that asymmetrical display and the new ones don't have them anymore so not sure what you mean by "newer bikes coming out with these Asymmetrical heads up displays"

a heads up display would be a display you can read at all times that is superimposed where you're looking, like in a videogame. you mean the asymmetrical dash. HUDs are becoming available though. There is a french company that is starting to sell theirs this year, I believe, which is mounted inside your helmet. A lot like google glass.

How much do you like your Beeline Moto? Is it worth the price? I'm having a hard time justifying 280USD on a device that appears to be entirely dependent on a phone for operation but if it really is a great piece of kit I might go for it.

It's the Beeline Moto, a minimalist navigation device. They have the Moto II now that actually shows you a little bit of the route but if you want to go as minimal as possible they also still sell the original.

Schaaf how do you do that? When i try it - when i rotate hand on throttle while holding brake lever, i fail to hold still pressure on the leaver - and my braking is very bumpy.

Great POV video. Bike sounds awesome! I’m trying to decide between the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro and a Triumph Speed Twin. I’ve never owned either brand but got to test ride the Speed Twin at Americade and loved it. Still can’t find a place that will let me test ride the Ducati. Questions: Did you try the Speed Twin when shopping for an 1100? How do you like the Ducati? I’m 6’3” tall. How tall are you and are you comfortable? Thanks so much! Cheers!

Only hangup I have is the one you rode in the video has Ohlins and the Tribute does not. Wondering if it will make that much of a difference 🤔. Than again the Tribute is $2200 cheaper.

Beeline! I have one, love it. Basically it's either a turn by turn navigation, or a compass. You can let it point you in the right direction (Compass mode) and you find your own way there - that's my favourite - or just use it as a regular GPS and have it tell you where to turn.
