This guy has a depth and talent which goes way beyond his status as a teenie idol. As on the "Cassidy Live' album he chooses some really interesting material here alongside the big hits and pulls it of really well.

"For What It's Worth" is my current jam song. I had always been a fan of the Buffalo Springfield version but David's interpretation and that guitar riff at the beginning really are game changers on a great song!
So beautiful and talented. I will always defend the fact he had true talent, though sadly I have read so many posted comments over the last five years where some people are absolutely vicious towards David in what they write. I spent over 4 weeks in the hospital early this year. Listening to David sing on my iPod got me through. He has touched so many lives in miraculous ways. Thanks for sharing this.

@fluffandskipper Don’t take the bad comments seriously, they come from stupid, envious people. So nice to hear that David’s music helped you in a difficult time. It was like that to me very often. He just had it. 🥰💖💕
All of David's concert performances were out of this world!!!! He put everything he had into each and every one of them. It wouldn't have mattered if he was singing to one hundred thousand or one, he wanted it to be perfect, his fans were that special to him!!!! I traveled with David to all his concerts from March of '72 until his last one, I know how much he put into them and how special they were to him....

I'm here lockdown 2021, helping my mental stability reliving the happy days of my youth. How I wish he was still here with us. His voice, and his soul always lifted my spirits when I was low. I hope he's now at peace with his own demons. 😢

I love David Cassidy, he is my idle for over 40 years,, and still is, he will never die, he is in my heart ALWAYS , I go to sleep each night- singing --Cherish,, , all night, lest we forget;
Just finished watching and all I can say is Hot, Hot, Hot!!!!!!!! I saw him at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 1972. I have pictures (negatives -- so long ago) that I will get printed asap!! Been mourning with the other fans and he will live on in our hearts FOREVER.....yes DC, it can be FOREVER!!
I'm 60 and he still does it for me - just as he did back then. No one like him before or since. RIP David x
Thank you he's my forever crush and so bright and talented no one can ever take his place God he's so special made so many people happy my wish for him is only love and happiness such a real treasure in kind
David Cassidy was a wonderful great talent, but for music industry a commodity.. And he was burned for make money for them. This sums his life right up. He had these combination of sexy, sensibel and sophistication innocance , than he was at his heydays the coolest guy on the planet. And he had these great voice and was so beautiful. We never forget you. RIP
What a tour de force David was!! He has so much fun up on stage and it’s delightful to watch him do his thing!! I love that white jumpsuit on our sexy boy!! Never seen anything like him before or since. I was lucky enough to see David live in Reno in December 2003!! He was great!! He squeezed the girls’ hands in the front row and you better believe I was up there!! Ascend to the ceiling all right!!👅
Oh Marja I had viewed this video in it's entirety what memories indeed Our David Cassidy was the most sexiest man in world and a very beautiful man 😘😍 Ty once again your The Best My Friend! 🙏💞🎵🎤🎸🎬🎥 #DavidCassidy #Forever~
I got to see him in Vegas, he's been in my heart forever
I loved this man and followed him since 1969. His death crushed me. We all love you David. Be at peace.
My partner and I were touring with David. I was David's Dresser and my partner was David's Road Manager. The voice you hear at the beginning announcing David is my partner. We had so much fun touring with David. Both my partner and I were in Law School at the time and after becoming licensed, we opened our Law Office in Beverly Hills.

I was 13 in '71 and he was a favourite too. 😃 😊
I do cherish you, my beautiful David.
Looking in '21 - what a gorgeous man. ❤
I went to New York ,September 1973 to see David in central park it was a free concert ,I was madly in love with him.. Luckily my friend who I went with had family over there,so we had only our air fare to pay £62.50 return lol..it was 1973 ..I was 17.Anyway ,we got there ,tipsy as we were terrified of flying, got to where we were staying,(long island.. completely different life style to where we were from.. Hamilton , Scotland..).. I could right a book about this, but to cut a long story short !The next day ,Saturday,we got driven to central park ,to the concert and guess what..It was cancelled !!honest to god ,lol now about it but ..Anyway I eventually see him at shawfield stadium Glasgow 1974 ..phew.. Got lifted by the police ,breach of peace lol..The biggest laugh of all is that my surname is Cassidy and the police wouldn't believe me.. memories..thank you David xx

That's very interesting, I was 13 y.o. in 1973 and I am from New York City, not Manhattan, one of the 4 outer boroughs (Staten Island). I never got to see David Cassidy. I don't remember there being a concert in 1973 in Central Park or hearing about it.( I do remember there being a Diana Ross concert, we didn't go to that either.) Too bad David's concert was cancelled. My parents never took us anywhere interesting! (I also had some family members who lived on Long Island, my male cousins who I didn't see too often). Oh well ! Once my dad took us to someplace in Brooklyn and said the Beatles were going to be there, turns out the Beatles were not there at all. I believe he made it up, there was a crowd of people but no Beatles. I was really young, maybe 4 or 5.

I remember that concert being canceled! Big fat bummer. I’m glad you got to see him. Man, he was something. Guess that’s why we’re here 50 years later with heart flutters. Some kind of witchcraft I tell ya!

this is unbelievable THANKS A LOOOOOOT
Was way ahead of his time, looks, style, talent the full package. Bring the then 24yr old David into 2021 and he would be showing them all how it's done, oh and he wore those bodysuits much better than elvis ❤️
Love the Audio. Wish there was video to go with it. We can take what we can get. And anything with David, Audio, video is something rare to have & Save. RIP David.
Fantastic....what a treasure...him and the recording!
Wonderful, so talented! Rock and Roll hall of fame, for sure!
Thank you for posting ❤ I was at David's Sydney concert (2 March '74, 3 weeks before my 17th birthday) where a lot of this video was taken. I was on David's left and back a bit. I was so enthralled and in awe and it was so hot and I was possibly dehydrated and now I can only remember bits and pieces of the day 😅🤔😓 but I definitely remember almost swooning when he came on stage. R.I.P. beautiful man 😢
