I'm watching this on November 21, 2023, 6 years after our David died. I'm now 62 & I feel the same way as you. He's so cute & when I see him, I feel VERY young. It's fun!

Ditto and 63 as well, fan of the show since the first PF season, saw David in1972 Garden State Arts Center, then a few more times since the 2000's until just before his untimely death. What a great entertainer as seen here! RIP David.🙏🙏🙏

The beautiful legend that is the sweet David Cassidy. Could sing anything, and should have broken free from his teen image and started a rock band. Beatiful inside and out. Can't believe he's not here in 2024.

@@gia-girl he was not as handsome as me, he visited Scotland a few times but I never met him, I wish I had. His middle name was Bruce so he must have had a strong connection to Scotland as our most famous King was called Robert De Bruce. I'm only joking about the looks, it's possible he was as handsome as me.

No one has ever had the smile that David Cassidy did!

When everyone else was drooling over Donny Osmond, I was on team David Cassidy. I knew under that smile there was an ordinary, slightly edgy guy lurking.

I imagine David Cassidy and Cher would have sounded good together. They both had ‘breathy’ qualities to their voices.

David’s originals appeal to the very young crowd, they did me, but he can sing anything!! Hope I see him one day, singing a variety of songs,

It bothered me and still bothers me that he didn't get enough respect, recognition, and people not taking him seriously.

Seeing David singing "Dream" with Glenn is such a treasure...

That smile was contagious. Will miss him greatly 💙

Thanks for posting, I've only seen parts of this. David was so fun loving and accommodating, I can almost see why so many took advantage of him. He had a good heart, and wanted to please everyone. His talent was un-measurable.

Yes, and he seemed so loving and that smile, them cheeks and those eyes and his whole face. So beautiful. They were jealous of him, the evil people. He seemed to have some inner pain from being hurt but he kept that smile on his face. So many hurt him, I have a feeling too. Beautiful man.

David cassidy was my idol when I was a teenager in the 70's.❤

I never heard nor seen this before but I have to say, David could dance, sing, handsome, that smile, and Glen Campbell had the IT factor too. But David was so cool and beautiful. Those cheeks and smile and eyes.

David Cassidy could have sung the phone book and I would have been star struck. Saw him in conert back in the day.

David Cassidy was gorgeous and had the most beautiful and joyful smile.

David and Glen worked so well together and I feel like they had a strong bond and friendship. Two artistic greats who are dearly loved and missed.♥️

I saw David years ago in concert, an excellent show. I think I was the only guy there. Great entertainer…still was great. About 2010.

He had such a classic voice.

He was all that but more than that he loved singing. I f you watch his eyes, his actions and his expressions you will pick it it up especually his twinkling of the eyes.

David was 21 here and they just pulled him onto these network as a Guest singer on variety shows like he was Andy Williams or Perry Como. Glen Campbell had a super popular show in the '70s. He was such a natural entertainer.

David has tremendous talent, is very versatile n has good looks 2 match.

David and Glens voices sounds good together.

Not too much to fault. 40+ years after this aired, it's still entertaining. Those costumes were everything! The camera really loved David. No wonder the girls were all screaming. :)

We have lost both David and Glen. How SAD is that? Heartbreaking.

Wow! I listened this again. Glen and David harmonized so well together to some of the Everly Brothers songs. My mom loved Your Hit Parade show She talked about this show when I was a little kid in the fifties. I am glad I had a young and hip mom in the Fifties. Mom was groovy, like Shirley Partridge in the Sixties. I have good times spent with my mom. She and I can't dance like we used to. Poor David and Glen could not dance like they used to in the end of their end either. It is not fun growing old. I hope Heaven is wonderful, and Glen and David are singing and dancing in Heaven. I love you guys.

Ain't that the truth!!! Damn!! So many of the stars that I had grown up with and had admired died that year! Even Rose Marie had to die on Dec 28! At the very end of the year!! WTF!!!

Glen, so gracious, he gives David the melody and takes the harmony on All I Have To Do Is Dream.

He really looks like he is having fun!

Who would have thought they would pass on within months of each other. So sad. Wished David would have recorded "All I have to do is Dream." RIP David and Glen. You can sing together in heaven.

Excellent voice, great singer, musician, actor and the most handsome young man of the 70's and even till now 2022. He was always handsome and his music in the 90's great. I love Lying to myself and the video awesome. There will never be someone like David Cassidy.

You could just tell how much fun David was having and how happy he was to be there! Amazing talent that could span decades and do justice to each! He is missed! 💕

I wish they still had shows like this.

Absolutely!! He had that kind talent!. I love seeing him when he was young like this, still so full of life and good health.

How ironic. Two incredibly talented artists playing together here, end up dying in the same year (my heart is sincerely broken again). David Cassidy and Glen Campbell actually sounded great harmonizing together, truly excellent! Makes me wish they had done an album together with original music.

For my wedding, I had one length long hair because we were going to put it up but after my wedding, I went into the salon with a picture of David Cassity with that beautiful hair and I asked my stylist , who wasn’t even born at the height of his fame to give me that haircut and she did, and I loved it

Variety shows were the best! I'm glad I grew up in the 70s.

I'm sure it was meant to be funny when Glen said that David probably didn't remember the 50's. David Cassidy was a little boy back in the 50's! How could he not remember that decade? I was a little girl in the 70's and I remember quite a bit from that decade.

I love this, I loved Glen Campbell as well, RIP to both him and David, just me thinking about the two of you while watching in 2020, wishing there was some great entertaining shows like this to take my mind off of what is going on in this crappy world we are living in today, God bless everyone watching right now.......
