this is honestly something that a tutorial isnt gonna help much with. Just keep making beats and eventually finding the right notes for the 808 will literally be instinct.

Something that I struggled and still struggle a lot with is the pattern or the rhythm the 808 should follow The best way I found to get it right is to just listen to a lot of song and beats and analyse where they are hitting and when they are sliding and other stuff

I get confused . if i load an 808 or a kick and it says that its a Gm (like when i grab on from splice), that means that the 808/kick is already in that key right; and i don't have to open up the 808 and switch it to Gm on the keyboard to make it a Gm since its already set; yes? and do i only do this if the 808 doesn't tell me what note its in?

If your 808 is originally on G, that means you will have to open up your 808 and switch it to G(because that’s the original pitch/key). Only leave your kick/808 on C if it’s originally on C. I hope that makes sense

Next vid should be you making a beat with you’r heart rate. So like get people to scar you while doing it and when you’re heart rate changes the BPM in fl changes.

start with slicing and dragging to rearrange into what you think sounds good, or to lengthen certain parts for verses, hooks, bridges, intros, outros, whatever you feel. then you can start manipulating the sample pitch, speed, things like that. using samples isnt cheating and people who think that way are ignorant. as long as credits are given everything is cool. hope that helps
