I'd say not as much. You should keep your kicks relatively uniform and not go crazy playing multiple notes in a beat (comapred to an 808). As for tuning, jumping around a semitone here or there to see if it fits better is a good idea, but I wouldn't be as meticulous with repitching something like a kick drum, it won't matter as much as repitching an 808

What about if you just put the loop in edison and detect pitch regions itl give you all the notes or am I wrong ?

From my understanding, it will give you the same problem as it did in the second example of the video (with the complex loop) where it'll give unreliable data. I think both functions (export to midi and detect pitch regions) are based off of the same function in FL Studio

Appreciate it! God bless you homie know that Jesus is alive and He loves you. He died for us and rose again to pay for our sin. Accept it or reject it but know you cant earn it, its a gift received by faith/belief. Hell is real and heaven also, but Jesus died so you could have eternal life and not have to pay the eternal death we righteously should have to because of our sin. The eternal God died to take our eternal death. Jesus is God homie He came down for you, its personal. Read His Word the Bible to know Him, the book of John (the history of the life of Jesus) is a great place to start. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD made flesh, coming down to this crazy world to be put up on a tree for me and you. Believe.

why are you calling it an 808? its a pitched bass sample. an 808 is a drum machine, not some shitty sample downloaded off the internet

Every single fucking video I am trying to watch about 808's is always fucking fruity loops. I have no idea how to use fruity because I use Cubase. Fruity loops is to god damn complicated to use. I dont even know how to load a sample. It's to complicated and I'm going back to Cubase, its the better DAW. To tune anything in Cubase 808's etc...its a push of a button, it's very very simple to do. With this fruity loops crap you need a god damn tutorial and do a bunch of things.
