    1. Fighting for his attention when another woman is involved. Don’t get caught up in the competition mindset. Rather than you looking at the man for who he is, you’re focusing on the other woman. 2. It’s okay to fight for someone who loves you, not for someone to love you. 3. Make sure you show appreciation when he does give you attention. 4. Never be afraid to lose him more than you’re afraid to lose yourself.

We should especially take heed to the last point at 33:54. Even the man who’s truly best for you can’t fill the God-shaped hole in each of our hearts. A man can be an amazing leader, lover and friend to his woman, and she should respect and appreciate him as such. However, the Lord is the only one who truly satisfies our deepest needs.

Communication is VERY imperative in any relationship/marriage. Don’t assume someone knows specifically what you want. Tell him/her!!!!! Be specific, vocal, and expressive!! Leave nothing up to the imagination that will render explanation later or feelings of lack. Heck sometimes I feel like I’m too expressive. I let him know EXACTLY what I want and how I feel. Then it’s up to me to decide if his actions lineup with what I will or won’t accept. Bottom line!! Don’t give your power away!!!!

He was trying to let me know he was there but he didn’t say hello or anything…he was just bread crumbing . He kept making sure he was directly in eye shot of every machine I was on. He looked baffled and VERY red faced that his breadcrumbs didn’t work. If he can’t even approach me correctly then I’d rather just get on with my life cos we are not doing that lol. Great video. Yes, I think it's easy to lose perspective and forget to ask yourself , if this person is worth fighting for. Often times it's true we are only being competitive to see who has the upper hand and perhaps the control. In the end, no one wins competing for a man who has not even proven himself to be worthy of the relationship. I believe in fighting for love within the proper perspective. Fight for the love in the sense that you both will do whatever it takes to come together & make it successful, if it is truly a genuine love. Yes, pour into the other's needs and understand each other's love language, that is often the missing link. Use the 3 keys, communicate, show concern, & demonstrate compassion. And of course, always cherish the love. Thank you for an awesome video. Sending blessings & light. My quote, "love and desire should always keep the flame going."

There’s some very good points here, but, not to be the devil’s advocate, when a man is in pursuit of a woman of interest ORIGINALLY, she doesn’t have to do all of this coddling, hand-holding, gentle talking and baby-burping. He pulls out all the stoppers until for whatever reason, he decides she’s no longer worthy of his finest treatment. She could have shown him something that he doesn’t agree with or he could have found what he thinks is a level up but she’s still giving provisions to him. It doesn’t matter. But, when men decide to change their behavior, they aren’t man enough to come to the woman and talk to her about what’s bothering them. If he needs to break up, if she offended him in some way, whatever the case may be, he just decides to withdraw certain things from the relationship that aren’t obvious enough to be immediately noticed (he thinks). Then, we as women have to do all of this soothing and babying just to get BASIC COMMON COURTEOUS COMMUNICATION. Like, be men! Own what you do whatever it is! I think women can move about relationships way better with honest, truthfulness and timely communication. Not second guessing our gut feelings. Then when we know full well that things are different, and we ask about it, we’re labeled as insecure or paranoid. Like, really? I’m speaking from experience. More men are attached and looking than severing ties to find who they really want. I cannot tell you how many attached men want to take me out. I do not go because I know that if we blossom, he’s going to drop her like a hot potato; if we don’t blossom, it’s going to be me. But it takes two to tango (entangle). Say what you mean and mean what you say! I appreciate your work, believe me. But, I just had to mention that because it’s always expected of the woman to be the cleanup woman in these man messy relationships. So, we can’t truly heal while always having to cleanup his spilled milk. And most times, they won’t even acknowledge what they did. It’s sickening how immature some men are.

I truly needed to see and hear this, because I have someone in my life I’ve known since I was 16, and recently in 2019-2020 we reconnected, last year someone from his past came around and I pulled away from him because I felt like his heart was into her, not me. So fast forward he’s been talking about certain aspects of their relationship not being entirely what he would like it to be, and I’ve been feeling certain ways about it all in general because he didn’t want to be patient when I asked him to be; he talked to me about having abandonment issues, I have them too on multiple levels, so me pushing away from him I understand how that can trigger him, and I didn’t realize that until today🤦🏾‍♀️ thank you King, you’re really shining some light on the things that need to be discussed because some of us have communication/trust issues 😩😂

You should definitely not fight for his attention, especially if he has done you wrong! No man is worth your dignity, and self-respect - there are plenty of men in the world for you to resort to such a thing. In a situation like this, you might not realize it, but even when you think - you might have won, you actually lost! Because of what you had to put yourself through. Anyway, that’s my two cents. -Carlos Verde - Dating Tips

So amazing. So beautifully expressed. Bless you! I feel listening is huge. Not to just words, the energy, body language, actions and unbalances of harmony. responsibility is key individually and together to build up without judgment of wrong or right. More on how we can build each other up with compassion and compromise. It's paramount to be unmovable in how we treat ourselves. For that is what we teach others on how to treat us. Mistakes and failures are a guarantee. When progress is not wanted by both or forgiveness is not given in how it's carried within, it's using it to keep us in attachments and sorrows.

Well said, there’s a significant difference between fighting for a man THAT loves you and fighting for a man TO love you! In order for a relationship to be successful, both individuals must be receptive and less defensive when incorporating any change, that’s especially difficult for some. God must be in the forefront of the relationship, along with being communicative, open minded and emotionally vulnerable! Lastly, If your guy is open to change then awesome, however, if you have to force love upon him or them towards you and he tends to be close minded, defensive and complacent than more than likely they simply just may not be for you! Everyone deserves a healthy and happy relationship, not a troubled toxic one!! 🤷🏽‍♀️ By the way Stephan, your humor is everything!! 😂

I feel like I'm in a revolving door with my ex. My ex is a NON - communicator. Dated for 3 years, and he ghosted me, because he got upset for something I text, but was true. Ghosted me for 2 years, and here out of the blue texts me, happy birthday in March. We texted back & forth for almost a month, and he ghosted me once again, for what or why I don't know. I'm tired, exhausted, and di5ne with his ghosting me whenever he gets upset with me. I feel he ghosts me to shut down so he don't have to communicate with me. There was time(s) months, and weeks he played the ghosting game with me so this is not new to me, but I'm here to get advise how to let this go in my heart, and mind. I love this man with everything I am, and seen a future with him, but I can't go on this way back & forth. I know in my heart he's not going to change to communicate with me EVER, so I've got to move on. I want to say, we did talk about marriage in the first year of dating, but that never got brought up again. We are definitely not on the same page, and I've known this, but still wanted the relationship in hopes he would change to communicate with me. I need to mention when he ghosted ne for the last 2 years, it was devastating, and broke my heart💔 like I've never been hurt this way before. It took me actually these 2 years, to accept the apology, and closure on my own without him giving me either one. When we were dating for the 3 years, and he stopped all communication with me I did reach out to him ONLY a couple timeshare, because of love, and wanted to make this work, but I failed. Some advise would be appreciated. Your video 7 Signs You're Just An Option was a HUGE wake up for me, THANK YOU!!🤗

It's Hurt's more if a man does not give his wife or girlfriend Attention could make the woman feel depressed and always feel he has another woman elsewhere.Thankyou Stephan 🥰😍🙏🏻

Hey Stephan, Thank you for making these beautiful videos - they are so helpful .Just wanted to share a perspective .Sometimes you need to match the investment to really see if the person is genuinely in love otherwise giving attention is again about giving and giving and not getting anything back

Thank you for this video. When you said I need to be myself in the relationship, I had just said these same words to him. It was confirmation. I am now taking a step back and evaluating if this relationship is worth the investment. I am leaning toward no but I think I will know sooner than later.
