Having played GFL for this long, Neural Cloud is a really nice fresh look into what the Dolls' AI do when not accumulating PTSD points on the battlefield. It also expands the world that GFL crafted and gives players insights into how humanity treated and lived alongside their mechanical creations. So when I go back into GFL again to do my dailies and see my Dolls I think, there's FNC and now I know better why's practically obsessed with offering me chocolate from the moment I started playing the game.

Manually playing the game and reading the whole story really pays off. I’m genuinely enjoying the game and I appreciate that many of the best units are 1 and 2-star characters, or are just given to you at the start.

@@stancemedia4727 as sniper main, you might want some bleed debuffer I kinda don't build any warrior, and I only build Angela as specialist, I plan to make 2nd team as melee and put Sakuya in it (you need 2nd team for future content, puzzle tower defense mode)

no. BOTH sides get debuffed. Notice how enemy healing also stops working completely. About the revenue: They don't have investors to impress. The top shareholder is the CEO/Writer of Girls' Frontline at 75+%, so the money can just be fed to the employees and for maintenance.

I really like the presentation and gameplay (when you do it) so I'm cautiously awaiting for future content, specially some characters that look pretty cool. Thankfully the game doesn't ask for much time so staying with it for a while longer doesn't feel like a waste.

At 11:15pm est today I am gonna stream CC#9 in Arknights. CC#9 is easily the hardest CC, so I'm gonna hate, and probably cry during, that stream. However, Neural Cloud is one of best gacha's that've released recently. I'm just not that big a fan of the gameplay, but I wouldn't say I hate it. But, if you are a fan of it then there isn't any other flaw in the game, you should play it.

Wait wut? CC9, hardest? It felt like the easiest since CC4 imho. I went to R22 in CC8 and playing around with those tags and enemies, R18 was MUCH harder imho but everyone's team, strats and stuff are different, I guess. When you get R18, tell me if you really thought it was the hardest so far.

It's possibly a function of me trying to go through harder stages without a fully leveled team, but I did fight some stages through the skin of my teeth, and i honestly had fun in those moments. Although I find your assessment of the energy system to be generous? Growth is tied to exp, skill points, and algorithm chips, and you have to juggle your energy on all three of those (diggcoin is so plentiful, it honestly doesn't count). Because double gains occur only on set days, you can really feel the gacha game padding. Maybe I'm being too content hungry, but I just want to experiment with different team comps, and feel too limited thanks to the slow growth rate.

The Overflow mechanic affects all units. Your team and the enemy gets attack buffs and healing/defense debuffs. Its to avoid the fights to drag on too long because everyone is super spongey and lack dps. Basically, "come on start killing each other" mode.

I'd say give it some time on the difficulty, up until chapter 6 in original GFL you could also just roll through everything without having to do anything other than pick a correct path to the enemy base.

PNC is great for being a side game while I do other stuff, especially other Gachas. I have about... 12-14 gachas installed in my mobile. But the three most played are GFL (I was was the 18000th player actually, ever since the hour it launched, I was playing it, now, I am practically God), PNC (Just a good side gacha to fill in my time while I play stuff like World of Warships, Rule the Waves, Bloons, etc) and lastly Kancolle (This is one of the most grindy gachas ever, it is surprisingly fair tho. If it wasn't for thr fact that I need to be level 60+ to defeat the third chapter, I'd play it more) Plan mode is a blessing in disguise, especially when you play GFL and PNC on the side, if we had the repeat option on GFL, we'd literally farm everything like a breeze. Although I would prefer more strategic and tactical gameplay added, I'm happy as it currently is, hope to see the game get even better in the future

Ngl, the upcoming content sounds promising since the dev will always try to get creative with their stage nodes like what they did in Kuro event. To some extent, gameplay mechanically as well. One of the future stage allow us to bring more than 8 dolls in a bigger map, there is also tower defense mode where we guard a certain point, etc.

This game was actually hard in some parts of the story for me. And letting the ai run it for me is more often a mistake since it runs me into a corner and makes me lose so I have to take over anyway. I do adore the characters and the story, though! And I love how generous they've been with banners. I've gotten all banner characters since release. It is a little jarring, though, that some of the 1* or 2* are better than higher rarity ones. Starting characters are ace, for example, like you mentioned. Croque is amazing. I want to use a lot more, because that's how I am, but resources are a bit limited and farming costs waaay too many keys imo so farming takes too long. I hate stamina systems with a passion, anyway, but the fact I can only log in some days just to farm a couple things then quit for the day because no keys is annoying. I know you can get keys with quartz sand, but that's for pulls, too. I'm still enjoying the game, though.

i tried this game by the amazing visual, but when i tried and see the 3d model, of course it wasnt as high of quality of another game i played (blue archive). so far i've been enjoying it, purchase some packages to support the game. it's a very small or prolly impossible chance, but i do hope the 3d chibis got some upgrades. awesome video btw, jokes are hilarious yet not overbearing. you deserve more subs!

been F2P since the game launch, and boy oh boy....my warrior's team was complete, i've got Clukay recently and already 5* her in the next day without even spending a dimes, the reason im still playing to this day (and still in the future) was because its one of the best side games for me while i do irl stuff/other games grinds

Where is my sarding Exceptional Protocol, MICA??? Joke aside, just wait for Alternative Evolutionism, the first major event. It's supposed to be the first event instead of Kuro event, but there is one glaring issue with it. That major event is literally the goddamn chapter 6, and you can't just expect players (Especially EN players, the clueless and enigmatic creatures known as the EN brainlets) to clear the main content in few weeks. It's probably why they decided to put a light character event as the first event. The major events in this game is quite big and have 24 story nodes by the least, (and it kept getting bigger and bigger if we look at how MICA did with GFL) so expect difficulty content from that thing too. Especially the bosses, god they are so horrible back when it's the first event in CN server.

@@tenshionslifer3031 Yup, a combination or a form of biweekly CC + Annihilation where you can choose debuffs and modifier to torture yourself for greater rewards. That game mode is considerably hard, and it's speculated that they haven't released that mode yet in global because of that reason. Just hope that it will be released this month or next I dunno, new player won't be able to get max rewards regardless if they are exposed to this early. Still suck that it's delayed tho. EDIT: It's also a source for fragments and other mats too, hence why people are mad that it didn't get released early in global unlike in CN. That aside, it's good that we get the latest client that DOESN'T have bugs and lack of Quality of Life features like the early launch of CN, so yeah it's not good to raise pitchforks yet like those people on reddit.

@@tenshionslifer3031 Saddly, whale wouldn't really complain about the lack of quartz incomes, those who complains are f2p who somehow feel robbed because global didn't get the "annihilation" version of PNC on the start of the game. And yeah, if they can't clear Kuro stage, then I don't know if they can efficiently gain all the things from the Exceptional Protocol. The complain is also justifiable too though (despite the issue of current state of f2p not being able to clear it) our monthly income of quartz for f2p is worth 45ish pulls, and Exceptional Protocol is half of those. We'll just hope that MICA can do the least damaging timing of the Exceptional Protocol release.

The whole drama about bosses in CN was bc they were literally imposible to kill with the given requirements, but they eventually lowered the difficulty. Global PNC made Kuro event the first probably from the lesson learned in CN.

I think after playing GFL. Arknights and Blue Archive, this game is like a mix of all of those. So, it fits perfectly as my 4th gatcha. It's casual, it's f2p friendly like GFL, and the lore...oh the lore is what I want!

Since you probably haven't played Girls' Frontline for a while, it's worth noting that that game has also added quite a bit in the way of tutorials and rewards to help new players figure out how to play the game.

NC will always have a special place in my heart because of how generous the gacha system can be coupled with neural fragment grind. Hardly ever (if any) gacha games are this f2p friendly

The suddle "Scream" as background music. The game is such a fresh air from so many other gatchas, with its unit type of upgrade, limit breaks, having to get only 1 copy. The different stages having x2 on some days gets you easily enough resources without having to grind or use a ton of stamina. I would love to see more gatcha focus on a easier way to get units but put their interest in skins for units.

@@harryanalta8620 No, you only need 1 copy to maximase your chara. Which is great. All the other copies directly change into a currency that allows you to buy fragments and unlock the stars on any unit you want

Started with gfl. Left when the jump n run gameplay was introduced. Neural was really fine but the new and complicated story alienated me. They missed a big opportunity not using the gfl girls.or very much altered... Kinda sad.

Hmn. Looking back at this vid, I guess I feel somewhat differently because I avoided planned mode until very recently to clear some endless exploration(s) The overload thing can definitely get annoying, especially since it stacks. SSS in Arknights manages to be an even worse execution of this concept, but as others have pointed out, both sides suffer from overload, not just your units. Still, punishing you for taking too long to clear a stage isn't fun for me either, but despite not fully clearing Chapter 5 yet and getting bodied on the last stage of both Kuro's and the most recent event (though I finally cleared it today, mwahaha), I dunno... Neural Cloud has been a pleasant surprise for me. My waifu is Souchun even though the tier lists dislike her, but I like her kit. Yes, Croque is amazing and it's great that we have so many welfares. I will certainly join the Church of Lam. But I think Neural Cloud's greatest strength is how weird so many unit kits are, from Fern to Sakuya to De Lacey to Banxsy to Bonee laughing off attacks from everyone who called her weak. It's not the best game ever, but it's pretty great

A fair review

bro, I'll be honest I think you have a little skill issue. Me and 2 other people beat the entire game in 3-4 days thanks to strategy. I do agree with you that certain game modes like vuln check and black hole requires you to steam roll the enemy with a time limit(which is annoying). But the stages with functions are very much beatable with strategy, such as the desperate assault functions that buffs you when your units die. Your example of your tank moving off the skill haste tile is also skill issue, you can easily teleport healers on the tile instead since they don't move or use hubble ult in a way that lets your tank stay still on the tile. Either way hope you keep playing PNC, I like your ruina content.

I totally agree. I wanted thoughtful strategy, not ram-rod auto. The tutorial pushing annoyed me (not the only game that does that). The turns in combat, I just didn't like the auto flow. Not enamoured with the character design. I really liked Girls Frontline better.

i just hate when i log in, i get like 4 pop ups of shop deals just because i have an aki and kuro. like no game, i dont want to waste my money on your crap. i came here to play free.

2:00 If you think that's bad. Then play guardian tales. I mean i love the game but the ai in that game is just wack. Long range attackers charge towards the frontlines.Characters are being attacked and decide not to move and the laser tower which there is a line that will show where the tower will attack and your characters who is in the line of sight do not move

​@@stuckerfan2563 Long range characters only charge forward when they are out of range unless they are warrior, tank, some specialist type that go melee. Characters dont move cause they are aggroed to the enemy in front of them and there is a teleport skill from tactical strategy for moving them.

Who want the beginner main quest to be hard like hell mode.... I don't. The upcoming Dark Area 5-1 should be more challenging since it is a new main quest.

But at least you can gain power. Try nikke - you will suffer hardcore. This game is actually good due to the fact that I can actually get stronger, not like freaking nikke

how is it stingy? you literally get like 160 rolls just for doing all the way to chapter 4, enough to get most of 3 stars char and not only that you can raise 1 stars char into 5 star. that is very generous compare to other gacha.

The game play by itself At least u know ur making a move MomentoMori felt more "played for u" imo

For me this buff system is just annoying, like, if it's idle game why do I need to click 20 times on the screen and read this hit. Its annoying to click 3 times after failing cc in arknights, but in PNC this thing is on the hell level. Also character designs are really cool, but their models aren't(compared to blue archiv for example).

comparing it to shadow of eminience and nikke both have alot f technical issues, poor monetization system, lack of foresight on how to keep players happy and coming back, poor design decision like in nikke requiring a dupe just to lvl up further and many more i think neural cloud is one the smoothest launch for a gacha i've ever experience oh and in shadow of emineince, the stamina is pretty stingy when grinding for equipment and equipment shard being rng means you'll either wasted your stamina for nothing or you get only like 1 piece of that shard after spending 50 stamina plus that game have severe performance issue from long load times, game freezing and many more i've experience. i have nothing bad to say about neural cloud other than when i heard they were making a auto chess gfl, i was skeptical until i tried it and enjoyed and it's the first auto chess game i've ever tried, i guess the only good gacha games at least in my experience are Azur lane, Girls Frontline and Girls Frontline Neural Cloud. maybe ark knights but i couldn't get into it

The damage buff applies to both enemies AND yourself, just like the healing debuff applies to both enemies AND yourself. That's some pretty massive misinformation you're giving when u say "you get debuffed and the enemies get buffed"

I see PNC as a side gacha, Arknights gets my salt and brain powah, then PNC helps me wind down with the certified gremlin Kuro.

After playing alchemy stars I cannot go back to "always on autoplay" games. AI are always dumber then a 3 year old in android games. But more importantly what is the point of a game that plays itself while you take a nap? Autoplay games strip players of that interaction that games are supposed to have to stimulate your problem solving capability. But android games tend to use autoplay like free candy because the devs want to make sure you are never in control of how your game plays out adding to your mental insecurity about your teams strength. Alchemy stars fits the description of a gatcha chess game. Giving you full creative control over your team roster, your player strength and how you want to win each battle. This actually opens possibilities for strategies that other gatcha games try to bury under the "better unit = better chances of win" formula. I have literally won boss battles using the lowest ranking units that other gatcha games would have declared obsolete trash halfway through normal difficulty story mode play. In Alchemy stars even the weakest units have strategic value and never go unused.

GFL1 lets you micro, which lets you do more with a lot less. from simple kiting to increase survivabiliry, to cheesing self-destructing deathstacks by cramming everyone onto a single tile to hide behind a shield. the korean players have funny movement PNC doesn’t let you do that as much. you can do some reaggro maneuvers, but the starting position is key. you can get good function sets on manual, but that’s about it. though I’m sure people will find some funny cheeses with team comps another “autofight” game I’ve played is afk arena. campaign pushing is RNG dependent, where you hope for the cheese to work after thousands of attempts

Ok i quit because the boss i cou,dnt beat and was so boring, and ok leave i start nearly game start a year ago, i return today and the boss still hard as hell, they dont allow me level up beyond 70 and dont allow friendship beyond 15, and there is no way to make miself stronger it depends on trial and error, i know is kind of a rogue like but it sucks, and no new story, is done for me it sucks

I love how generous the game is, and the stories... but the gameplay sucks (personal opinion), I feels like nothing to play. When it is easy, nothing happen. When it is hard, you just die immediately no matter what you do (I use recommended power and even more, but still can't tweak the hard stage...).

Knowing how the GFL devs roll, I'm pretty sure they mostly just want to expand the franchise's story without giving the players too much trouble with a second gacha. Also, I believe they are aware of how stupid EN players can be, so they even have two modes of skill description.

Is a glorified idal game log is why it fail in CN
