    Nice video. Only RIP V2 on CCNA 200-301 now. Nice phone in the background. Its looks like the classic GPO or BT 746 model that was used in the UK many years back

    Note: in RIP protocol, split horizon is an important concept to internalise. it basically prevent the routes learnt by a RIP router from being sent back to neighbours

    In your example portion of the video, all three classes of networks have a CIDR of /24. If RIPv1 does not support VLSM shouldn’t those all be at the default mask?

    RIP is listed as 'Routing Internet Protocol' on the Network+ 008 acronym list. Do they both refer to the same protocol?
