I remember seeing your videos and can't believe I just found your channel // you are a legend!
I've started to study CCNA course and wondering how can i get hands-on practical experience on what I've learned theoretically in your opinion.
simplified, short and indepth at the same time. more confident that I understand it now given that I ve never actually used/managed such an infrastructure yet. thank you
Cheers Kevin. Well explained and very much appreciated :)
You say “one and only one port” on every non-root bridge, but they’re per VLAN not per switch. Since each VLAN is a separate L2 domain
where you implemented this lab? In cisco packet tracer there is no tunnel mode gre multipoint option
there should be an error in the topology why are you advertising 172.168.1.0 30 bit prefix when the address is 172.16.. ...
i am refffering to the OSPVv3 configuration part in your training
Thank you for this superb deep dive session!! Understood each and every BGP topic that was discussed in the video. Need a similar deep-dive video for ISIS routing protocol.
Even it was helpfull I was missing a lot. For example which Technology is behind the sdwan Software how do they Connect to each side? Is there also a VPN behind? VPN policy based vs route based was missing too. This was more a VPN introdution then a deep dive but still interesting, thanks!
Thank you sir for the videos
I wish there was an exam that was between difficulty level of the CCST and the CCNA. I’ve already taken the Network+ exam. I won’t be using half of the stuff in the CCNA, if I took the exam. Does anyone know of such an exam?
Finally I took the exam online with Certiport and the Onvue application from Pearson vue. Overall it was a good experience and a good exam that was quite facilitative in the sense that the multiple choice questions and drag and drop questions were graded with partial credit (not like the exams in the Skills for all course). I had a final result of 959/1000 for 40 questions :)
Kevin, I can't do $348 one time payment per year. My budget simply doesn't allow for that. I can do max $50.00 per month.
Save $50/month for 7 months. Then get it after that
Great post, thank you Kevin!
I have 2 questions: 1- What is the purpose of creating the route-map AS100? Wouldn’t just the AS100-PREPEND route-map serve the purpose of influencing the desired path selection? 2- Is the purpose of the prefix list only for use with the route-map? What is the difference between a prefix list and an ACL?
Wonderful
Excellent explanation!
Helpful video ❤
Growing up we had channel 3, 5, 7 and of course pbs 11
Great video
Really?! Python applied to anything for performance… 😖
Thanks, very useful
great video! Thank you so much!
In 2024 whether that AS path prepending you've mentioned in the video at 00:50:38 works?
I see genAI can help network design, but from Cisco TAC perspective, I think predictive AI is good enough for troubleshooting and issue mitigation.
Hey Kevin at 6:06 second you said the wrong ip but you typed the correct one I didn't know if that caused others confusion but as always thanks for your expertise
Thank you for all the information, this video has been very helpful.
damn the legend itself dives into AI!
Love your videos. I thought policing was best for UDP traffic and shaping for TCP traffic. Is my statement still the case?
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy our training. To answer your question, I would say Policing is best for TCP traffic, because it can drop traffic. In that case, TCP would retransmit the dropped traffic, while UDP traffic would be dropped without retransmission.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your Immense Efforts for Community of Network Engineers… If possible can you please also make Deep-Dive session for protocol “IS-IS” in depth… Thanks.
Thank you Kevin for this video. I refer this video to brush up DMVPN. Excellent!!!
Can't wait for AI to take my job

after 6 YEARS i would like to thank you for this great video, Sir you are professional. like a magic I do understand what it was hard to understand... thanks from Libya Tripoli 09-06-2024....
Thank you so much for this and the STP deep dive. Both these videos have been incredibly helpful for me!
I am speechless! You are the Best, Bundle of thank to you.
Im on the way to learning cyber security i hope your videos will facilitate my ambition. Thanks a lot
Shaping = Less assertive, puts a delay on packets that may go over the Bandwidth limit. Policing = More assertive, drops packets that exceed Bandwidth limitations.
Wonderfully explained and shown. Thank you, Kevin.
I wanted to thank Kevin and his udemy course. I spent about 2 months going through the training provided by CISCO but was having a really hard time retaining information or connecting the dots. I picked up kevins course and oh man. There is no fluff and having each topic explained in individual videos was perfect. I crammed his entire course in about a week and using his course and the free practice tests in the cisco course I passed the CCST first time with a great score. Having the course be 1:1 with the exam objectives really helped me stay organized and easily identify areas I needed to review or re watch the video. I cant recommend his courses enough, they are perfect for my way of learning and being able to focus and master one topic at a time.
Congratulations on your CCST Networking certification!
if they had a kevin wallace GPS voice package i would buy it
Thank you so much dear Prof./Techncien for the explaination. Could you tell me what is the diference between using straight through and crossover when we connect two switches ? is there any diference?
Will AI eliminate engineers?
Here we go! Thanks again for the great video❤
yep, getting closer to the Skynet :( Once you train a model to make Earth better, time to wrap up and go somewhere in the Universe.
Good video, I am specializing in AI in my Masters program. It is amazing what kinds of applications AI can be utilized for
Thanks Kevin, you've really broken down qos into an understandable topic. GOD Bless you!
Wow. Exam bloat. Just take the Juniper exams.
Yeah because AI will have no impact on networking! 🤣
WOW Mr Wallace great subject to bring as always you are ahead thx and god bless u
