Ive had the xr1000 would getting the R3 be an upgrade?

Tried all sorts cannot get an open nat setting with this router unless I'm missing something

I have friends on different platforms and we play together. Is there a whitefish option while geofilter is on so I can play together with them? Or can I just add them?

Hey im having a problem with my R3. I cant get in the webbrowser page of the router but get a message "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" did this happen to you? if so do you have a solutions will be greatly appreicated.

Why would you connect to a server outside your geofence? I'm in Colorado as well and set mine up similar to your prior where I had CA to TX. (At the time Utah was the lowest) But I could see my session connecting to GA servers etc.

Make sure you're using the latest firmware .41 Also setting ping assist will get you servers outside of your radius.

Bro, can you try triangulation in europe for example? ... can you avoid all american server and play in europe?

Cod sbbm knows ur running a geo filter router. when the game 1st boots up it pings east coast and west coast servers. if 1 comes back denied it knows you are running geofilter. i had one for years, they a junk.

I can’t find that update 4.0.41 …mine is at 4.0.23

Using steady ping expert. In video you said 0-30. That's wrong. If you got 30 ping in server. You setting expert steady ping to 30 will make your inflated steady ping 60. You want to set it the minimum of 10. Then it will inflate your ping 10 ms over server ping. Therefore, if your in a game with 30 ms ping. It would now be 40 ms steady ping.

Unfortunately you must have misheard or misunderstood what I was saying when it comes to expert mode. Clicking the expert mode tab you'll see. When your ping falls below your Target Ping, we'll raise it artificially to keep your connection perfectly stable. "Try a number slightly above your usual average ping." The above is basic instructions on how to expert mode. When doing so you want to do exactly as it says. Look at your geofilter ping and go a few milliseconds above what it says for the game you're playing. Didn't mention how it would affect the in game ping. In my example the Chicago server is sitting around 25 milliseconds or so so I set expert study pin to 30 MS which as per the instructions is what you're supposed to do. During beta testing I double check this with netduma to be 100% sure. Again I don't like messing with any of that like. Just stick with simple mode.

The first time I used expert ping stabilizer. I set it to 40 ms. My ping on good servers is usually between 35 & 40 on BFV. I went online in Battlefield V. My ping was 80. Now that's after setting it to 40. That's on my normal servers in VA or DC. That's when I realized I need to set it to 10 ms. 😉 you see what I'm saying bro

@@1989pulsar I agree with you. Maybe it should work as Low Ping King says, but in my case if I put target ping 30ms, for that much raises me ping in the game.

I got rid of my r3, to much of a hassle for me

I’m so frustrated, I should have done more homework before making the purchase. It’s such a mess of a product I can’t see how they felt it was ready for release.

Really? Well I've had 2 other routers that had DumaOS on them. So it's nothing for me. I'm very happy with mine.

@@jed6267 no, the amount of issues I had, couldn’t find a match at all in any game, after update couldn’t even connect to the internet with it, it’s not hard to use it’s just ass with the issue I had
