Even I already have NET. I am often criticised for attempting the exam stating that I am taking away someone else’s opportunity. But I’ve no means to get JRF other than getting into that 6% criteria in the first place. There is one simple fix for this. Making NET exams like CA exams where one time profile creation could be made for every applicant and they may register for subsequent examinations. Thereby NTA could easily know the progress made by each and every students and they may avoid overlapping of existing NET holders.

My opinion: alredy net ullavrk veendum net kodukkaruthu adhava qualified aayalum.adhu 6 perclk kanakkakaruth JRF aanegil okay.. fresher'sn importance kodukkuka..

This is something I have been thinking why UGC has not been looking up on this issue.... People are writing again and again for jrf and many coaching teachers are also writing which is ok but if there is a provision in the application process to chose accordingly then many people could qualify
