Encouragement-I’m 46 and we didn’t have car seats to clean and we played in dirt and my mom didn’t sanitize everything and we survived wonderfully lol. You are a good loving Mom and that’s what matters❤

An item I would add to your diaper bag is a few plastic grocery bags to put used diapers in if you don’t have access to a trash can to keep poo smell etc at bay. 😀

We have dogs, so I've used a roll plastic poop bags for diapers-they are so compact and hide the smell!

Always have bags. For used diapers. Messy clothes etc… one of my friends regularly popped the back of her minivan open & changed one of her babies back there when they were out & about. They went to buy a new vehicle and they took her van & while they were waiting, the guy who was cleaning out their old car brought 2 bags to them and said “I put the toys, books & clothes in this bag & the dirty diapers in bags & chewed pacifier & chunky bottles in this one. We’re not allowed to throw anything away that’s in it but I’m not going to lie, I did throw away the French fries I found”. She was mortified that there were diapers & was apologizing & he said “hey at least yours were in bags. Sometimes we aren’t that lucky. And not to worry b/c he had kids too”.

In the UK, we have something called "nappy sacks" they were a thing before dog poo bags, a changing bag must, even if you're using reusable nappies 😅

@@KariMaeMum I had those too. I think I eventually went to the plastic grocery bags as a way to not be wasteful with plastics since most of our US recycling centers don’t recycle them 😡. I am almost exclusively reusable now but occasionally if I have something delivered or my hubs stops by the store for me (the reusable bags are in MY car). But a poo bag is a poo bag be it for a Corgi or a kiddo. 🤣. It’s so awesome when they are grown, they just hop in the car. No diaper bag required.

I'm so happy to see you reusing things like bottles and the car seat for your baby. I do the same- momma of 6 here. You are more relatable than most!

You cannot keep most baby/toddler things clean! We do the best we can and that's it! We do not need to impose added pressure on ourselves, especially if it's based on some silly standard set by others! You're doing great!

Kristen you can get a simple steriliser that goes into the microwave so after you wash the bottle it does the job of boiling them but much quicker. You will be able to thrift this or buy it cheap used . For pushchairs I always used liners like a cotton liner that could be removed so stain stayed off the seat same for the car seat .

That reminded me of making cookies with my grandkids. I have a grandson, who just turned 13. And he loves to make cookies with me. We usually make chocolate chip. Or peanut butter kisses. I know that baby Lilly is here. And she is adorable. So I hope the cookies have helped you. Actually all your girls are adorable. When I had my daughters over forty years ago, stayed in forever. And they were both born in late October. So I didn’t mind staying in when it was cold.

Looking the way your cookie sheets do LOL you watch these baking shows or other people baking and everything is new and pristine that's not real life LOL. I'm 68 years old. I never sterilized bottles. As soon as you pull them out & they cool down they are no longer “sterile”. Clean is all you need. Love those glass baby bottles. They are so pretty 🤩

This makes want to have another baby already! 😁 Also, we live in the country and the strollers are never clean! Don't worry too much about it!

Rosie and Ruby are so sweet! Your apron is so cute, especially with the star on your protruding belly! That cookie recipe to my adult siblings is considered as our Mom’s oatmeal cookies, though hers always had raisins, chocolate chips and walnuts.

Time is finely here. Seems so fast from our end but I know you're ready for it. Prayer for easy delivery and fast healing. Looks like it is now a waiting game Hope the baby comes at a good time, and not an all nighter. It is your third baby so things usually move fast in labor. Do nto wait to long to go to hospital. Also, have a pain reliever like Tylenol for after birth pains are worse. Peace!

I’m always impressed with all you do. Back in the day (way back lol) I barely did anything my last month! Don’t judge yourself about dirty car seats and strollers…..sometimes mine was a mini grocery store time I got around to cleaning it.
