  My baby is going into 7w and I hate the hooded bath towel. The ones I gifted were so linty and it was sticking everywhere on him after a bath. I just bought a large beach towel and it’s absorbent, quick drying and is something he can use for a long while

  Elvie has the curve as an alternative to the haaka and I think it’s a tad better because it goes in your bra and It won’t be kicked off. I loved the haaka but had one too many spills

  Oh it’s so pretty. I love it all. You guys worked so hard and I know many wonderful memories will be made this summer. The flowers were geraniums not begonias and if you deadhead them they will keep blooming. I find they are pretty resilient. That was a great idea about the ferns. Enjoy your weekend. 🪴🌸🇺🇸

  I would turn the couch seating area around to face the yard. Such a pretty lawn and fun to watch the kiddos playing. This was a beautiful transformation, well done!

  I agree many of those things you mentioned are not necessary, the one thing I bought basically for my was the rocking chair a very confortable one, I left it on my living room and while my kids were watching tv I was breastfeeding 🤱 the baby and resting my back 😍 every one at home loved that chair we never got rid of it.

  Your home is LOVELY, neat and clean, and beautifully decorated. The nursery/bedroom looks comfortable and cozy. Good for you for speaking up. I myself was getting terrible anxiety knowing that anyone would be disapproving. I think you handled it with grace.

  If you are collecting classic children’s series, I have to recommend the Betsy-Tacy books by Maud Hart Lovelace! They start when Betsy is five and follow her through school, up to her getting married. They’re similar to the Little House books but they’re set in Minnesota. ❤

  Oh my gosh. Finally someone I can relate to. I'm a first time mom and have a 3 month old baby girl. People always gave/give unsolicited advice to me and think I'm crazy for not buying all these gadgets. I'm like...ummm if my grandmother and mom didn't use these things, I'm pretty sure I'll be just fine 😂
