Cannot get my to connect to joining device

I recently upgraded phone and needed to do this again but get stuck on the “ once the the light turns blue”. It stays white and the new phone can’t find the nest camera. Any troubleshooting advice?

No but you can buy a Google mini and it can be a chime or the Google nest hub and it will show you who’s at the door

That metal plate is not a very secure way to hold the doorbell. My doorbell fell off after slamming the door.

I must have missed something because I get no notification on my phone when the doorbell is rung. It makes a sound outside, and I'm getting live video, but I don't know when someone rings the bell. Trying to find something in settings but don't see anything.

So the doorbell won't chime on your phone? Do I have to get a Google home mini?

Your phone will get a notification. If you have a home mini or any google speakers (including the hub), they will all get notified. You can selectively choose which one won't get the chime/notification, but that would mean you have to turn off 'all notifications' for that specific speaker.

This is the worst doorbell I've ever owned I miss alot of events it dies constantly I live in a semi high traffic street. When I get packages delivered I will see a package but got no notification or saved video footage of them dropping it off.. when it works it has pretty good quality and the sound pick up is pretty good

Dear never mentioned how long battery last and how to know when battery is full and what kind battery is like Lithium or what , please reply if you know. Thanks

My battery last about 3-4 weeks. Battery percentage is in Home app under the Google camera section.

RE: Stick on....so anybody could just remove the entire camera by pulling it off.

Great doorbell, unfortunately the mounting system is insecure and makes it way too easy to steal the doorbell, I had to return mine for this reason, nest would be wise to improve the mounting design!

Came here for this reason lol. My friend gave me their old google nest battery doorbell and as I watched this video the first thing that came to mind was “damn, these are probably easy to steal”. I’m not worried about my neighborhood as it’s gated and pretty decent, but imagine these in the ghetto and how quickly someone can just snatch it off the wall. 😳
