NESPRESSO PIXIE - Step by step clean and disassemble guide XN304 / EN124

Hello guys, Today we are working on an Nespresso Pixie machine that leaks water in the capsule chamber. This is a easy fix since it only needs cleaning of the nozzle and diffuser plate. Tag along and see how to properly dissasamble and clean this machine for an "as new" effect.
Enjoy!

Hi Adrian, I discovered, via the manual, that the correct and very easy way to remove the inside chamber that you struggled with, forcing it, is by inserting a small screwdriver at the top on the left inside the drip tray chamber, there is a small square hole, when you do that and lift a little bit at the same time, it releases entirely by itself, without any pulling and/or danger of breaking latches/tabs.

Nice video, but before you do this try backflushing the nozzle under a hot tap. Open the chamber and just flush. It worked for me: a lot of gunk came out and after that the machine worked flawless again.

Many thanks for your tutorial. But I am done with that miserable little one way coffee machine. Never again. After one hour fiddling around, the case was completely destroyed. Now I putting this crap to where it belongs: into the trash can....

I found a MUCH easier way. Fill a large measuring cup or something with bleach and water. Open the dispensing area, flip the unit over and soak the spout and dispensing area in the bleach water. Use a toothbrush and perhaps pipe cleaners to scrub the diffuser plate and get into the spout. Drain and then run clean water through to flush and rinse. No disassembly required.

Many thanks for sharing this video. I've spent 3 hours trying to open my Pixie and have come to the conclusion that it's designed this way so you either break it trying to open it, or throw it away and buy a new one.

For this issue absolutely no need tear down the whole set, a waterpik Oral irrigator do very good job, just remove the capsule chamber, then use waterpik flush the nozzle from outside, 2 minutes you will get things fixed,

Amazing, thank you so much for this! I bought a second hand machine that looks pretty used and dirty. I followed this tutorial and gave it a good clean. It’s like brand new!

Thanks for the guide. It was a pain to deal with all those clips (literally, the Pixie Drew first blood on one of my knuckles) but ultimately I got it apart enough to force some water back and forth and dislodge the air bubble that had rendered it temporarily useless. Thanks again!

This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact

Thanks for this video. I successfully followed your steps and cleaned my nozzle after 10 years. Although now I have a left over piece and don’t know where it came from. Hope it’s not important lol

Fantastic video, thank you so much. Nespresso wanted £79.99 to look at my machine but after watching this I did it myself. Saved me money and my sanity from no coffee.
