it will fit under the "new" machines vertuo i think they are called.But not the standard ones if they made it smaller than 400ml it would not be worth it so it is the machines that are to small I bought a capsule drawer that holds my capsules and I can put the machine on top so there is a step so this mug would fit under a small machine that way as the machine sits higher.I have the new vertuo machine so can easily fit most tall cups....I have the starbucks thermal cup 470ml add a mug capsule and hot milk.

The height should be a bit smaller to perfect fit between the table and the machine :(
