That's my all-time favourite NES game. It's simply perfect and absolutely brilliant! Also, you don't have to be a hardcore gaming nerd to finish this game, it's fine and enjoyable for the "common folk" as well.

Might be the best NES game. Such a brilliant masterpiece.

Wróciłem do tej gry po 27 latach :) W dzieciństwie miałem kartridż z tą grą, ale uległ uszkodzeniu i nigdy nie było mi dane grać w tę grę dłużej niż kilka minut. Gra zrobiła na mnie wtedy tak wielkie wrażenie, że nigdy o niej nie zapomniałem i w wieku 31 lat mogłem ja wreszcie ukończyć 😅

Za dziecka przechodzenie każdego levela było jak oddzielna historia i zdawało się trwać cały dzień 🥲. Ostatnio też przeszedłem i ciekawym doświadczeniem było dostrzec różnicę między tym jak się to pamięta, a jak się odczuwa teraz 😅

I named my cat after this game. As a kid, I used to play it a lot with my mother and brother. These were the days!

I remember this game very well, and I almost want to say it's my favorite NES game. I just beat it today... and it was the VERY FIRST time I had revisited the game since - well..... I'll just put it this way: It was definitely since before the first Harry Potter film came out. Before 2001 altogether, most likely... maybe even longer. Those demos are so shrewd... they show World 1-1, World 2-1, but then they show the ice level, which is World 6-1. I'm sure I'm not the only one that was just itching to play the ice level... that's probably the whole point of showing the demo. But, in many ways, the most intriguing set of levels to me is World 5: Tranquil Island. BEAUTIFUL music! I also love the whole Felix doppleganger boss presentation - both in the pre-level infoboxes and the actual boss battle. It's basically Felix's evil twin, and he's dressed as a western gunslinger. (CUTE!) Totally classic... definitely my favorite of the bosses. Then following that with the ice level from the demo... BOY! This game brings back some good memories! Also, for some reason, I never noticed how in World 7-2, those face blocks combined with the Felix faces, spell out 'F E L I X'. Felix the Cat is certainly an underappreciated, often overlooked videogame. In many ways, the gameplay is a lot like Super Mario Bros. 3. In fact, the gameplay was probably directly inspired by Super Mario... one can see similarities between the underwater stages, and World 3: Water Land, from Super Mario Bros. 3. I'm actually more familiar with this game than the original Felix cartoons, as well.

I love this game- mainly because the Japanese developed it . I know this may seem crazy and weird, but I wish the developers, Kuusou Kagaku and Sanritsu, made a sequel for it on the SNES using the Duke of Zill as the last and final boss.

Almost worth the same as the NES cart

Yep. It would actually of been a decent attempt to port the nes game.had the horror factory not thought that was an good idea putting…..that game over screen.

The 2nd stages are pyrmids. When i played this game I was 8 years old never thought myself would liven in Egypt. Now somehow I ended up living in egypt. Im from south korea btw

The part I liked the most about this game was killing the enemies multiple times. You could keep making them bounce back over and over again if you aimed well enough haha

I played this game and it was pretty darn easy. It was made by Konami which was formerly Hudson Soft. Konami made so many great games for the NES like the “Castlevania” series, the “Contra” series, and the “Gradius” series. This is possibly the most decent Konami game based on the 1920’s character.

Konami was never Hudson Soft, the companies were entirely separate. In their early years Konami produced arcade games, which were licensed to other companies for release in America. Konami did however produce some Atari 2600 games for the American market. Beginning with the NES Konami sold their own games with the name Ultra Software and eventually published games on the NES with their own name. Hudson Soft started out making adventure games for Japanese home computers. None of these games made it to America except for Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom, which was ported to the NES and released in America. Hudson Soft was one of the earliest companies to start publishing games for the NES, the company started an American division which allowed them to export their games to America without the help of other companies. Hudson Soft USA closed down in 1995. In 2003 Hudson Soft started another American division, called Hudson Entertainment. Hudson Entertainment only published mobile games until 2007, when the company started publishing video games on consoles. In 2011, Hudson Soft was purchased by Konami which resulted in Hudson Entertainment being closed down. Konami used the Hudson branding on some games after the closure of Hudson Soft.

@@jayden6538 How far can we keep this correction train going? Konami didn't "eventually publish games on the NES with their own name." In order to prevent another video game market crash, Nintendo prevented companies from releasing more than 2 games per year, to supposedly keep the quality up. A huge company like Konami had way too much going on, so they invented "Ultra" to release things like the Ninja Turtles or Star Trek games which would sell based on the license itself, no matter who published it. That would free up space so Konami could put their own name on their own titles.

Ahhh i remember when i was 5 , watching my brother playing this game and my dad sat next to me. Now i'm 25 and my dad passed away just few months ago.

Damn this game looks fun. I regret not putting time playing it when I was a kid. It was in my game collection. I thought it was dull and boring and I played the first stage out of curiosity, got bored and stopped playing it even since.
