I rememer having a terrible flu when I was 8 or 9. I had high fever and had to lay in bed. That was the only time my parents allowed me to play long enough to pass the whole game. Priceless memories :)

Java required. Might as well just download an emulator instead of java. Plus its in the browser. Not always fast.

get yourself a USB NES adapter.. . that way you can play nes games on ypour pc with a nes controller :P

Rewatching this gives me a greater appreciation for the remastered version. Each has its place, but it's always nice to see where and how it began.

My first issue of Nintendo Power back in 1990 (the one with Jack Nicholson's Joker on the cover) contained maps and a walk-through of this game. After reading about it, I went and rented it and loved it. Oh, the memories! Edit: Got the year wrong.

I just started playing this as part of the Disney Afternoon Collection on the PS4 and XBox One. I do have them as ROMs on my NES Classic too.

If I remember correctly, you can do a gold swing on the crates of coal in the african mine and sometimes treasure come out.

Yes, I know we all know we got a Ducktales game in recent years, but that was a re-master of this game and still tied with the original 1987 version of Ducktales. Disney should try to find it in their hearts to re-license Ducktales to Capcom and make a 2017 reboot tie-in. That way, we’d be able to play as Della! 8)

Revisions to the game included the removal of crosses from the coffins in the Transylvania stage, replacing them with the letters "RIP", replacing hamburgers as power-ups with ice cream, and the omission of an option for Scrooge to give his money up, an action deemed too "un-Scrooge-like." A leaked prototype cartridge from a private collector reveals several differences between the original, unfinished version and the final release, such as different level names, unused music for the Transylvania stage, slower tempo on the music for the Moon stage, unused or altered text, and the character Gizmoduck going by his Japanese name "RoboDuck". Capcom game of course

i beat it a few times now that i think about it but i always still played it, it was one of those games though it was beat able you still always found yourself playing it again...

Oh and the moon theme... still awesome.

That's assuming that it's going to be a 1:1 remake, which it probably isn't. Since Capcom turned Resident Evil into an action series, they'll probably turn this into a horror survival. Seriously though, I hope the remake does well enough (and is good) that they decided to remake the Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck games too.

I bought the XBox One version yesterday as part of their latest sale.

I love how there are red e-tank looking sprites that don't have a E on it.

I might be wrong, but I think it's kind of an obscure game, its' a great one though! Love it to death, the controls are tight, the level design is excellent, the difficulty is excellent and GOD DAT MUSIC

Def an under rated game the only thing that hurt it was that it was such a short game.... but in its time it was quite good and ahead of its time

It was? I found this one of the easiest NES games out there and one of very very few I could actually beat as a kid without cheating (I've never been especially good at games of that time).
