Neolithic Obsidian Dagger - Made in Timelapse
-The dagger is meant to be from Linear Pottery Culture 5500 B.C.E. -
I sat down and made a Neolithic obsidian dagger from an obsidian blade I purchased from a flint napper, and using only prehistoric techniques and tools. Accuracy is extremely important when making prehistoric reproductions, yet another of my many hobbies.
Otzi Iceman - An early copper each man killed in the mountains of Europe by an arrow to the back. Below is a link to a picture of his actual life. You'll note that mine is at least of the same quality if not a little better. Of course, his rotted in the ice and snow for 5000 years where is mine is freshly made.

I've been super busy at work over the last couple of months, but looks like things are finally calming down. I'm sure people wanted a nuclear video, but I also do prehistoric reproductions and I just happen to have this ready to go. I have a few more things in the works and I'm hoping to get a couple more videos out soon. lol
How about a photo in your outfit? Enjoyed the video!

Let's just say that Neolithic people are not always the most dressed. This was simply because their modesty was more related to practicality, then the abstract notion of covering certain body parts. To put it more plainly, I wasn't wearing enough to feel comfortable putting it up LOL it was quite accurate clothing for the inside of a Neolithic long house where it's warm, but not necessarily KZread friendly LOL I make sure my plastic mannequins wearing that clothing as they're plastic and nobody's Disturbed buy them LOL

How do we know about the body paint and how did it look like?

In reality, we don't. We can look at their artwork and try to get some idea, but in the end it still nothing more than perhaps an educated guess. We don't even actually know for sure that they were body paint, though their artwork seems to indicate this is very likely. I just use my imagination a little bit
This is cool! I hope you'll be using it for everyday Neolithic matters ;) I have a question though, did I see nails at one point of the video? :P
