I honestly think that SVC (SNK vs Capcom) should have been like this, rather than the way they went with it. Dual Special Moves between SNK and Capcom characters would have been an awesome idea too!

Nah, it was OK and acceptable.... also i don't like my serious crossover games childilish cartonny or nonsensical. New Gens -i call them the pre 30's - should understand that you're not the only fans of fighting games here, 30's, 40's and even 50's today are definitelly a huge part as well, specially in LatinAmerica though

*They've* had a *few* of those, actually: X-Men vs. Street Fighter had a bunch of them and a few characters in Marvel vs. Capcom 1 had them when paired with certain other characters.

Don't remember the game, but Ken and Ryu have a Double Shinku Hadoken team attack, where Ken could perform Ryu's special next to him but they both had to be on the team. Only time in a game I saw Ken throw a Shinku Hadoken

Something I never understood is WHY THE DUAL SPECIAL MOVES take just alittle ofthe enemy´s health. They are like the weakest attacks in all the game.

+BIMBOBOOP Yeah I didnt like that either. But their main purpose is to reduce the opponents available red health. Would've been better if they did more damage to the actual health bar too

If the game ever gets a sequel, the Dual Assault should be one of the (few) things that should be improved upon. I mean, didn't SNK try to at least rip that off from the Marvel Vs games with the Hyper Duo Combo or whatever it's called? And it's a real shame that it deals low damage too, because all of the special Dual Assaults are actually cool.

Actually not, the first time was is in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo with Guile in 1994. SF Alpha and Charlie/Nash is from 1995.

Love this game so much(I even bought the PS2 version twice:EU and US versions) Don't forget about it,SNK.Build upon this beautiful fighting system and it's badass Special Dual Assualts(Ryo/Robert,Hanzo/Fuuma,Terry/Rock and the "Bladed" ones...:E)

I need to get this game ASAP, pretty cool characters. Mudman looks awesome !

I remember playing as marco and spamming the shit out of his machine gun and grenades.

This Mr Karate is a slightly older, grittier and stronger version of the Ryo we all know, after he takes the monicker from his father Takuma that eventually retires from fighting. He originates in Buriki One, a 3d fighting game for the ill fated NeoGeo64, check it out and you'll se. also note that Robert is an older, grittier and stronger version of his usual self to accomodate this fact ( he was created just for this game ) and terry is in his Mark of the Woves persona. @Snyperwolf91 The dual assaults are mainly used to take away the red life (health the enemy can regenerate). If you do a big combo and don't try to do a D/A after it.. then they can swap and that enemy that took a huge combo is now regenerating all of that red life back. It also means you could try to stick to short combos so they don't have alot of red life to regenerate. So it's a pick n choose thing but they are useful. Yes the special dual assaults are hard and just for show.

@Starsoulklr The point of the video is displaying the super moves not damage counters. =p I know what the D/A are for but I put in enough hours for this. I'm not gonna please everyone. =p

Awesome job there Acid. The only complaint I have is that the Dual Assaults are meant to destroy the red bar to prevent recovery and since they were at full health we didn't get to see how much they take off of that.

Really liked how they did Robert in this game.

Lee had such a cool design, I would have loved to see him in a KOF game back in the day. Him and Duck King.

i can see the dual attacks as just a fun way to finish em off, made more fun by the fact that they do so little damage, so as a finisher it'd have to be really well timed and worked-up after a whole round. not every flashy move needs to wipe off 1/3 of the health bar every time :B

Is not used for yellow damage, but red one; the one that recovers itself when you tag out. Is very useful.

Only very few sprites from cvs are better than the ones made by snk on the mid 2000s. Plus cvs recycles many sprites from the 90s without any adjustment - actually looking worse due to the rescaling. While ngbc retouches almost all old sprites.

daniel spell Nameless made his debut in KOF 2002 UM when it came out in 2009, four years after NGBC was released in Japanese arcades back in 2005.

Trying to do Kaede’s Dual Assault is hard.

It wasn't as mainstream as other SNKP games like the KOF series. You can purchase it for Playstation 2 or for Xbox LIVE Arcade.

This game should've been a sequel to SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.

AcidGlow It is, but no high jumps, no epilogues, no dialogue intros, no heaven, no hell, no Goenitz, no Takuma Sakazaki, no Orochi Iori, no Choi Bounge, no Kasumi Todoh, no Serious Mr. Karate, no Earthquake and no Capcom.

It's a crossover game, yeah, but it has nothing to do with svc or crossovers between different companies. It's a crossover in the "KOF", "CFJ" or "Smash" sense (the inicial Smash concept at least)

@Starsoulklr The damage is pretty much the same as a standard Dual Assault dude.. the only reason they are team specific is just for special effects.. making them harder to use doesn't make them better in this game. No point to use them when you can just QCF+/ Dual Assault normally for the same damage.

@acidglow I know of the stupidly hard requirements for those it's just such a pity we can't see what they really do to the health bar.

Si tienes razon su equipo fue uno de los que comenzo KOF debio haber aparecido y ya que es de parejas, para mi fueran sido Ralf y Leona, considero a Leona porque es una de las chicas que también han ganado fama de SNK y es raro no verla, y pues ella aunque no es originaria de este juego or lo menos salio en la ultima versión que hicieron que era un juego para movil, y ha sido una de las miembros mas importantes de este equipo, deberían hacer una secuela para que los agregaran

i agree that Marvel create Blackheart but if i believe in fighting games Neo-Dio came before Blackheart in Marvel Super Heroes which i believe World Heroes 2 came in 1994

Wladimir Quiroz well snk fighting games want you create combos and not spam special moves and supers plus the dual assaults are most used to get rid of the red health bar.
