In order for places to remain well preserved, they need to be used. That's something many well-intentioned people don't understand. All material things will wear away anyway, but even an ordinary house will crumble faster if nobody is living there.

Jacob the fricken trash at historic sites and in nature just PISSES ME OFF too! Thank you for encouraging everyone to pick up the garbage. Let's clean up the world together! I LOVE walking labyrinths. Walking meditations are powerful in labyrinths. I hope we have one on the land at the Hall someday! Fun little series. I hope you do more! ❤
Thank you for cleaning it up Jacob. That kind of thing breaks my heart. Years ago I had a dog trained to jump out of my canoe and swim over to rocks and cliffsides to gaher the trash I couldn't get to, and bring it back to me for disposal. He was a great dog!

I love that you take the time to pick up the litter 💕 Humans can be quite disappointing 😒 But it’s an awesome reminder to respect these and all places. Beautiful scenic views and another amazing video 😊

Good job! Cleaning up the trash that trashy people left behind. I agree with you and I also do the same thing. I'm enjoying this video on Wodenstag with my morning coffee! Lol. Thanks for a wee dram of the castle and all of your hard work in bringing it to me. Skal from Oklahoma!

I adore this videos. A little learning this morning. ☕💕 Leading by example is very powerful on the rubbish bit. It matters. ❤🙏 thank you 🙏❤
It just happens to be Saturday for me here in NC. I have enjoyed everyone of your videos. And hope that the gods will one day bring our paths together so that we may drink and be festive together. Until then! til árs ok friðar!
Norse pagan from Utah of all places here, keep up all the great work bro ❤ I’m also planning on visiting Scotland someday as my family used to be related to the Pictish folk and your videos have been most informative

Scotland is Great for Norse stuff too. They were really active there so plenty to see!
a man after my own heart 😍 i always carry a carrier bag when going to places like this purely for this reason!
Delightful production! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Excellent Jacob! Very enjoyable and full.of those wee bits of information that my brain can handle.
I'd keep up with the "wee" little video series. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially your take on cleaning out the rubbish and the labyrinth. Was perfect length as I sat here eating my breakfast at my desk. Kept my attention, but then there was nothing in this video that I don't love and enjoy. I bet that labyrinth had a fantastic energy. I knew they could have magic but didn't understand til I finally walked one a few months back.

5:26 the bench that faces that labyrinth belongs to my papa who died we made that bench to remember him am glad people are coming and going by it thought it may not be in the shot thank you!
Great Job! Thanks for cleaning up for those who don't have a clue.
Awesome!!!
Thank you I love the smaller sized videos ❤
I'm teaching my son, nine, to pick up trash everywhere we go... We like to hike, but also just our little walks around the neighborhood too.
I love this idea, thanks for bringing us along. My husband has started carrying bags with him as he walks in Central Park in NYC. Sad to see this happens all over the world. On the positive side he did find a 20$ the other day.

Awesome man, I'm always picking up trash when I go hiking and stuff
I've been to Dunure Castle myself. I filmed a video of my visit for my channel. It will be under the care of Historic Scotland.
Yup’ I’m subbed ‘ shall enjoy watching your journey 🌈🤍☘️
VIDOE IDEA: perhaps show us how pagans use stone structures for rituals or something like that
Big thumbs up for removing all the crap left by idiots...pisses me off too, whenever I find rubbish at an ancient site I take it away in a carrier bag. Mostly left there by adults who should know better. Otherwise, great footage of the castle and labyrinth 👍✌

The thing that annoyed me the most was how little people reacted to me chucking that much rubbish out of the castle. People are so oblivious!

yeah, they would complain about the rubbish but just leave it there
Loved the beautiful scenery and your ponderings on the history of the site. I too pick up people's trash when I'm walking, most notably in a park local to me. There are some very spiritual vibes in that area that draw me, and some very old trees that I love, and it irks me to see garbage throughout the area. I always bring a bag with me to collect it and it always ends up full. 🫤
Great! More of these please alongside your normal content. Thank you sooo much for taking us with you!

what is the significance of mazes? why are they considered spiritual?
Is the podcast ever coming back?

So are lies and being ignorant 😂
People are disrespectful to toss there trass like that smh
You should follow the most popular pagan tradition, and that is converting to christianity. Because Jesus is the way, the life and the truth.
hi Jacob, i love your videos and like you i am a pagan but i am having a hard time to find a pagan pantheon to convert to so if this is okay with you can you make long videos each about Norse, Celtic, Slavic, Finnish, Baltic paganism for newcomers who want to convert to paganism like me, videos that will be about: 1 the creation story 2 gods 3 mythical creatures 4 how those people view the world back than 5 festivals 6 culture and traditions 7. mythical realms thank you and have a good day.

I have covered the Norse mythology extensively on this channel before. With a faire amount of Celtic as well. Just one man over here and I definitely don’t know everything. But I’d say there are many videos in my catalogue going back years that’ll help you 👍🏻
