Gosh, Scotland definitely has some extraordinary history. It's amazing to learn about it, and I love to see old castles, they're fascinating. Also it's mind blowing to think that people, hundreds of years ago, would've stood there at the window looking at the same view you're looking at now, that's incredible, isn't it? But what a beautiful place. Loch Ness is glorious. ❤️

Wonderful, glad you have seen it first hand!
Urquhart is a beautiful, peaceful place. It’s quiet and mesmerizing as you move around the castle. I’ve always been fascinated with the whole Loch Ness mystery. I do hope though that they never catch a Loch Ness monster, as they would probably torment them, as humans do. Great tour of the peaceful Urquhart Castle. Thanks once again for an excellent tour.

The monster torments us humans by never appearing when anyone with steady hands is holding a camera and disguising itself as a floating log.
Very beautiful and historical can't wait to see more tomorrow 😀
Thank you for this video. I remember my visit to Urquhart Castle, the souvenir store was open then as well as the video on Urquhart Castle. Then we boarded a bigger boat and saw the Castle from the Loch and landed in Fort Augustus.

That sounds cool to have been able to get on the boat at the Castle and head down to Fort Augustus. Covid mucked up a few things but at least we were lucky to be there!
I've been twice in there and would love to return!❤ the exhibition before accessing the castle made me astonished. A beautiful place no doubt. It's worth your time.

Another beautiful and stunning paradise in Scotland! It explains why the Victorian people loved this place so much! Thank you so much for sharing this particular part of Scotland with us! Loved the beautiful just beautiful scenery. Also the names and dates scratched into the wall, plus the ruins of the castle! It must have been a very sunny day, because Scotland is known for its cloudy, and gray weather. Well done indeed again!

This was the first day of our trip and we were quite lucky with the weather, sunny most of the time but a bit windy. Some grey days followed and stayed until we got to Skye later in our trip. Overall the weather was not to bad and if it rained we tended to be driving or indoors somewhere so it worked out ok.
It's a stunning location isn't it? I've cycled the western bank five times during LEJOG's and driven past the castle on the other side many times. I really must take the time to get up there for a holiday and explore. Thank you for the wonderful tour!

It is hard work researching the history, sometimes we get the information as we visit and others we have to find out after we get back. It's fun to do, but time consuming. I have watched to many videos that never tell you anything about a places they show, this is part of why we do it our way! Glad to know it's appreciated!

@@MemorySeekers That's why your videos are different, 👍 it offer information on what is the place, its significance, etc. Unlike other travel videos that are just walking tours with no annotations nor subtitles as to name of the places which eventually make them boring to watch.

2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right, it's a common mispronunciation that people make and whilst you will see over the course of the videos, I get better at saying it right and even in the next video making a point of how to say it right, I will still get it wrong from time to time as its hard wired into me. There will be plenty of other pronunciation errors for other words as well.
