After the 2014 and 2015 Neo Eurovision that saw "Rise like a Phoenix" and "Grande amore" win, the virus year is a great opportunity to bring Neo Eurovision back to life :)
The recap video will present the most recent lives of all songs (or old lives if needed/closest to what they would have been at the real Eurovision) if available!
This video is the presentation of the concept and the announcement of all qualifiers and participating songs in the final .

What is it about this time? Not only about personal fun
Compiling reliable votes awarded to the 2020 songs, mostly (but not only) from official votings held by the competing broadcasters and make sure every pot gets about equal weight on the voting of the semi-finals and the final to optimize the weight of valid reliable votes in each pot, which is something that not a single other simulation did (otherwise it’s skewed in favour of Pot 2 (with 6 official votes held by the countries of that Pot, you simply cannot simply add every official vote revealed and say that Iceland would have won the real contest)).
Taking into account voting paterns, barely any simulation took voting patterns into account (the only one that tried to do that is « Euroscorer »). I’m using simple methods for this , dividing into « huge pattern » and « big pattern » and applying certain rules from there, because otherwise it’s IMPOSSIBLE to extrapolate past tendencies to the 2020 songs because we don’t have the exact televoting figures for each countries , the only thing we know for each country is the number of points awarded (besides the italian broadcaster that usually reveal the exact televoting figures), which is not enough and simply shows a « pattern », without a way to say exactly that diaspora impacts for example 25% of the televotes from country X to country Y, we simply don’t know .
There is also a Pot 6 made of the Big 5 + The Netherlands (the Spanish and German broadcasters held official votes)
