The covers are all about fun and you get it this is why fans love them.

To fully appreciate this video you should watch the side by side that someone made with the original video. The “random” person who walks across the screen is Mayu’s husband and is a callback to the original video as is almost everything in this video. If you want to see Mayu having a lot of fun and hear Nemophila do a disco pop song try their cover of One Night Carnival.

People kept saying why doesnt Murata tamu smile in this. She smiles in all their covers. She told everyone she couldnt smile because her moustache kept falling OFF.

The mustache is 2 fold reference. The Journey drummer had a wolly mustache, but in "Faithfully," there is a scene where the lead singer is looking into a mirror with shaving cream on his mustache ready to shave it off.

I am so glad that you GET Nemophila and what they are all about.. 5 good friends making great music with respect and class.. So many reactors especially the misiciens? watch these video and sit there critisizing and making stupid comments about how this was different and that wasn't the same etc.. Really, It is a cover!! and their take on a particular song.. If you want to see it like the original then go watch the darn original. They miss the whole point of Nemophila's covers.. They do such great covers. Their cover of Helloween I want out is a good one. Their Loudness cover of Crazy Doctor rocks. They did the Trooper by Iron Maiden which you saw. Their cover of Maidens Aces High is just as kick ass. Their cover ROTTENGRAFFTY / 金色グラフティー and Halestorms Lovebites. The list goes on and on.

Hearing any Journey cover always reminds me of just how incredible a singer Steve Perry was in his prime. I actually got into Journey on the album just before Perry joined the band. They went from a really good band to legendary just by adding Perry. Greg Rollie was a good vocalist himself, but Perry added great new dynamics. They were great singing together. Listen to “Just the same way” to hear their greatness together.

Murata Tamu (the drummer) besides wearing the mustache to pay homage to Journey's drummer, she also played with her left stick in an underhand grip like he does. She also, probably, played the keyboard section. She can play drums, piano, keyboards, saxophone, bass, guitar, and can sing.

Mimicking scenes from the original MV, Tamu with the moustache and even adapting his playing style to pay homage to Journey's drummer Steve Smith. 🤭🤘🏻... They've had alot of fun with many of their covers, but that's also why they've already built up a certain fanbase as a young unknown band (in this formation) while the world stood still. They released most of these covers almost weekly on Fridays, which is why the term 'Nemo Friday' established itself. And even today, Fridays are still their preferred day for new releases. :) ... Just look at the name on the bass drum Tama and replace the last A with a U. Saki, the elder statesmen of the group and shredder phenom is like the Japanese rice wine Sake. Actual Japanese pronunciation may be slightly different, but close enough. Haraguchi, bass player is a clothing designer on the side. I presume you have heard of Gucci handbags. Just add the Hara to Gucci. Mayu, vocalist, is like a Mayan goddess, just replace the AN with a U. I don’t have a memory aid yet for Hazuki’s name although she is sometimes compared to a librarian with her glasses. Very cute women.
