I’m disappointed in how many reactors have no clue about all the homages to Journey’s original low budget, cheezy video from 83! I love that NEMOPHILA are so into the whole theater aspect of a true cover. Chef’s kiss on this one!💪🏻🤘🏻

I was alive and stationed in Tokyo when Journey's song was released. MTV wasn't on in Japan but videos were being played. But calling Journey's video of Separate Ways (add in their Faithfully video as well) as cheesy is giving the video an Emmy. The video is totally forgettable. It so forgettable that *I FORGOT ALL ABOUT JOURNEY'S VIDEO OF SEPARATE WAYS.* So I saw this video at first & wonder do we have another Nemophila "Bon Jovi" cover (Nemophila fans don't talk about that one). Then I saw this reactor *WHO DID MENTIONED (A HOMAGE) THE JOURNEY VIDEO.* Went back to watch the Journey video. Yeah, now I remember why I forgot all about it. Now I see how Nemophila paid homage to Journey with this cover. At the same time I started to like Nemophila's cover of Separate Ways a lot more.

These ladies go above and beyond.. Hopefully Mary's Blood have plans to release the concert, the final song (Say Love) was very fitting way to end.

Mr Scott! As a middle age metal head (40 to 50??). You should go see Journey's Separate Ways music video from the 80's on KZread. Then immediately watch Nemophila's cover video. Then Nemophila's video would make more sense. Got to love Nemophila's dry & witty humour. Oh. The guy walking in front of Mayu is her husband. In the Journey's video. It was a woman who walked in front of Steve Perry. Paying homage to Journey & having some fun.

Remember in the Journey video, the girl in the video keeps walking by the same way as Mayu's hubby is in this one. I'm surprised how not one reactor has mentioned that Hazuki is doing the keyboard part on her guitar.

To be fair, Hazuki's part is a bit buried under the actual keyboard that Saki is probably playing. It's cool that Hazuki is doing it, would've been cooler if she was using a synth pedal to one amp for the keyboard sound and a dry tone to another amp for the guitar sound to make the combined sound. That might be doing too much, though.

Mayu mimicking Steve Perry's moves in the original mv is just lol fantastic ! 🤘😁🤘

NEMOPHIA AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL 2022

Uh, just gonna slip a recommended track here, Best Band In the Universe by Galactikraken, aka Jonothan Young, guest starring Ninja Brian from NSP himself also on the song Seperate Ways, I'm used to it being sped up like 1.25 at least, ever since game grumps long ago in the Jontron era

Unfortunately, you skipped past the best part of the entire video! Hopefully you at least saw it yourself, even if you didn't post it. The point where you paused to ask about the guy walking across the screen, you can see Tamu, Saki, Hazuki and Haraguchi-san all lined up in the freeze frame, but then when you resumed the video, you had skipped past that whole part! That's the BEST PART, along with Tamu's wave at the very end, which also got left out! Otherwise, great reaction!

Yes I did. Unfortunately the feed started buffering and the footage got real choppy. I wasn't happy with the way it looked so I had to cut that part out.
