Nemo Dagger vs Nemo Dragonfly

Фильм және анимация

Nemo makes excellent gear, and I love the Dagger 2 Person that I've been using lately, but my buddy has the Dragonfly, and I wanted to make a side-by-side comparison.
Here is the full review of the Dagger that I did a while back:

I have been able to connect to a couple of brands I believe in and use to bring you guys some cool discounts and, in turn, receive a little support from the brands in return.
The first brand is a shoe company I have been a fan of for over four years. EarthRunners makes a minimalist-style sandal that I keep coming back to because they work as advertised. They are low profile, comfortable without being bulky, and stay in place. They provide a great grip on the rocks when I fish and explore in the mountains and allow my toes to spread naturally. I have done a few reviews on these sandals on my KZread channel, but the best endorsement for these things is the sheer number of friends at our dojo who wear them. It is almost the “official ninja summer footwear” over here. If you check them out and decide to get a pair or two, please consider using this link: earthrunners.com/?rfsn=206323.... If you use this link, it supports us as EarthRunners pays us a small commission. If you get used to these, it will be hard to return to anything else.
The next brand that I have been able to gain an affiliation with is one that I gets me super excited. Origin, the maker of the best jiu-jitsu gi’s in the business, has given me the hookup. There are many reasons that I’m excited about this connection:
1. Professor Roy Dean, my jiu-jitsu instructor, is affiliated with them; these are the gi’s he wears.
2. In addition to gi’s and jiu-jitsu equipment, they have a supplement line that I have used for over two years (I take their krill oil).
3. They are now making what is looking like a pretty cool hunting line of camouflage gear.
4. Most importantly, they are making their stuff here in America. They are rebuilding NC mill towns and bringing back real manufacturing jobs to our country.
If you take a look at these guys, please use this link:
originmaine.com/?ref=kRsLSaQr...
And if you decide on some gear, use the code “MERRITT10” at checkout for a discount. Using the link and the code prompts Origin to give us some monetary support in return.
If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen that I have been pushing some new NinjaEveryday T-shirts. If those interest you, we have several colors and styles and lots of cool Chapel Hill Quest merch. Check out our Shopify page here and grab some gear! chapel-hill-quest-martial-art...

I think the dragonfly was pitched incorrectly, the cross piece should have been above the ridge pole to increase the volume and head room and make it not so flat on top

Error placing the small perpendicular pole for the Dragonfly: it must be set above the main pole, in order to get maximum height ondise the tent.

The new 2023 "Osmo" version of Dragonfly now also has the "jake's foot" ball joint pole attachments. Slightly smaller and non-replaceble (sewed in) version of it. Not sure how I feel about that. :\

The lifetime warranty should cover it in case of issues though

I do like what I see and I do hope for your channel to grow. However there are some key points that I saw in this video that makes it less professional looking. *Practice. The more you rehearse your lines and know what you will say next will remove the need to do quick sharp cuts in the filming. *Know the gear. Know how to set it up properly before starting the video. With the dragonfly it wasn't set up properly and gave it a strange look. Another thing is to know what the parts are called, the specs, as well as knowing the weight of the gear. The more information you are able to share the better the video will look to people that are interested in what is the difference. *Find your voice. If you sound sure of yourself in what you are saying it holds more weight to the viewers. It makes it seem like you're an expert and you know what you are talking about. I do hope that you take the time to read this and find ways to improve your filming and editing skills.

yeah,I’m choosing the tents between dagger 2p (1.84kgs)and dragonfly 2p(1.41kgs) ,until someone told me that dragonfly has 3p types in 1.51kgs,it made me turn up a new way. My wife used to hiking with me in a width 1.2m pad instead of single pad 😂.So dragonfly 2p is not suit for us. I want to ask you for the space is enough and comfortable, right?

Honestly I use it as a one person tent most of the time, but I have camped with my wife and we had plenty of space!

The dragonfly make me think of a bigger hornet. The dagger looks more like it’s own thing.
