So before hitting play, I was like "Who the hell is this Zaza guy?"... which turned into "Nice melodies; pretty good player". At 2:31, that became "Wow...he's pretty damn good."... and at 2:41 I said "WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT?", and listened to that arpeggio run about 10 times. Then I just stopped watching, stared at my guitar, and sulked.

That lick he plays at 2:30 is absolutely mind-blowing.

I once worked at music store, Neil was there do a clinic.....first class cat the whole way!! If tou are reading this , Neil.....HAMMERJACKS!!

I don't think I've ever seen someone enjoy themselves and expressing such joy on stage before.

i'm a computer programmer but what I really love to do is to play the guitar. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my work, I spend almost the whole day writing code and no time for the guitar. But every time I hear Zaza play, I ditch the computer to get a hold of my guitar. Thanks for always reminding me of what I really want to be. More power!

Zaza was in a metal band in the 80s up til around 92. Bring back that Band!! Great songs like Maybe Tomorrow and I Walk Alone. Just Get It is Awesome! Come on Neil the fans want some Old Zaza !!

Hey Neil, I'm friends with someone you went to high school with also named Chris, saw you at the Akron Agora a bunch of times! YOU ROCK!!!! Always have, Always will. I found this just now via the "100 Greatest Guitar Riffs" video and I love this song. Four thumbs up.

I met Neil back in the early 90's when he did a gig in Buffalo. I can't remember how we met- if I opened up for him or how I knew to go to the show (Mike Varney article?), but as a local musician I was allowed to hang out before the show backstage, and he was the coolest guy. We had a great time and he invited me to come hang with him in Ohio if I ever came to play. And with him I knew it wasn't BS because he gave me his real home phone number- I called and we talked for a while. He told me he'd take me out to lunch, never got there, but he was a genuinely kind guy. So glad he's doing well, he deserves it. Carvin (Kiesel) rocks! I've got some and they are great!

Wow ,what rock have i been hiding under. Just now saw this guy for the first time today, and have noticed that the posting is six years old. I've been missing out on a lot of great guitar playing from a very gifted musician. Don't want to start the comparison game, because there are just too many really great guitarist on KZread.
