    Very enjoyable. Thank you for posting. Edmund Purdom was perfect for these historical films. And he could play hero or villain equally well. I like how Jeanne Crain's character struggles to accept her new life as royalty, but ultimately truly becomes Nefertiti, Queen of Egypt, at the end. The last image was powerful. She was a fine actress.

    "....properly formatted...." = conveniently cut the lower, or the lower and upper part of the frame. I always prefer the original framing, more movie to enjoy, but not only this; cutting the frames is as cutting parts of a painting, so there goes the composition, which I suppose that for the common lockdowned consumers doesn't matter.

  • @AngelCatBaby

    @AngelCatBaby

    6 ай бұрын

    @@HO-bndk. I’m thinking he was also king TUTs dad. The resemblance with Akhenaten and Nefertiti is quite remarkable in Tuts facial features. There is a book out somewhere which in the writers research, that king Tut was murdered, which was probably possible since the warring factions of their religious faith in many gods and the one god controlled most of the upheaval between leadership and government policies was in this time period as well, including those wanting power in the priest hierarchy. King Tut was only 18 years old when he was killed or died from whatever caused his death, plus were buried in a hurry with many of the artifacts found in an unmarked burial place in the 1930s by Carter and his crew. Another factor to consider, Ankenaten’s name along with both Nefertiti and Tutkhenamen were being erased and removed from buildings and monuments, including inside tombs, while others were being enshrined on them. This was a way to ensure their demise and have them obliterated from historical sites and records, and also this was a way to keep their names from becoming known and recognized in the afterlife within their religious beliefs. Their souls would find no rest or peace and wander forever. Hate, greed, and power always corrupts, and those who want to be a ruler take it upon themselves to do anything to get that power. What I noticed is that Ankhenaten, who ruled 😢for 18 years, was way ahead of his time and seen a better future for his people and country. This part I would’ve loved to research more because as far as I know, he was the first to acknowledge only the one God, and which could have prophesied about Jesus’s future life here as well. This alone has gotten my attention and I would love to know more about the rest of the story on this subject. 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🤔❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼

    So far, they aren't even close to the true pharaohs. They actually loved each other. The word pharaoh was the name for male or female ruler(s) of Egypt. Their son ruled after them, but died around age 19. He was Tutoncuomun. Nefertiti died a couple years after him. However, she was as popular camilla compared to Diana. Historians figure his uncle did it to become pharaoh. This idea of one god you could not see , wasn't popular with the Egyptian masses as it was with both pharaohs.

    Never heard of or saw this one. Great flick well portrayed. Crain was great in her role as Nefertiti. I knew Jeanne Crain was beautiful, but I never saw her look this hot. Her and Ronda Fleming Donna Reed, Debby Reynolds and Arlend Dahl Hedy Lamar. were all 10s.
